Great day you had on the canal. Nothing like a striper blitz! I haven't been since 2018 but fished it on and off over the years. I was there in 2017 an insane year! Caught 7 or 8 stripers both trips back then. Two 40 inches 22 lbs each back to back . Still looking to break 30lbs. Anyways, looking forward to getting back down the canal August/September 2022 season. Nice video! Tight lines. Best of luck!
It's a finger glove, protects your finger against the braid when you fish for long periods at a time. You can wrap your finger in tape for the same effect. The braid tends to cut into the flesh especially when wet.
Love striper fishing unfortunately me and my buddies catch them in the lakes in southern cali but you guys just killing it maybe me and my buddy can take trip to the canals and fish with you guys
For cut bait use pyramid sinkers or hatteras sinkers to set out your bait chunk. For artificial lures depending on the tide, current and depth you will use also use something lighter weighted in the form of a lure/ jig but while continuing to move/jig/reel it in.
And your mentality is what is destroying fisheries. No money no wardens, no warden = no standards. Spend a month in the canal, for every 1 warden that comes through a day youll see 50 people taking shorts to their car. Imagine if they actually had the resources they needed, maybe stripped bass wouldnt be in major decline. Id rather be the reason you have to pay for a license than you be the reason striped bass are extinct. Don't like paying for a license? Go fish for stripers on your private lake.
@@noelbishop4437 No warden !!! Perfect thats what we want we dont need or want other men telling us what we can and cant do, But i guess you like having a master keep voting you will get another one, dummy !
Glad you enjoyed it here!!!!!

That depends if you're using real cut bait or artificial lures!
