Great timing. I was going through my tackle and searched to see if you guys had any pointers, sure enough a recent video post! I downsized my kayak crate considerably. I had a lot of I guess I would call "situation baits" but sure enough those "situations" have never come up! Minimized to a tray of various paddle tails (Green Lantern, Slam Shady Clear Gray, 3" & 5", and a couple others) Top water Spook, a Twitch bait or 2, Jig heads 1/8oz & 3/16oz, and a few artificial shrimp- that's my winter box at the moment - very basic but it works! Removed extra tacklebox - now I have room for camera gear instead of under my seat!
Would love to hear what your top lures are for spring. I visit the OBX every year around April and the leprechaun/paddletail havent produced a lot of fish for me. Fish are finicky, so maybe go with small mirrordines?

Hi Tony Danco Premio over Danco aluminum admirals? 🤷🏼♂️. Isn’t a leather sheath bad around any water? I see it has a non-coil lanyard but is titanium really that much better? It’s like a $100 difference. Im new to saltwater fishing & I’m trying to choose a saltwater fishing plier… thanks for your insight.

What do you do when your shady 2.0 tails get bent?
@@michaelinraleigh Just lay them down flat on a table outside in the sun for about 30 minutes, and it'll reform back when it cools down.
@@Saltstrong thanks. Didn't know if I had to boil them like zoom flukes or not
This is the best inshore tackle video I’ve seen yet. Keep it going tony!
So glad you enjoyed the video!
Good info, especially for people who are just getting started fishin'.

Do you flatten the barbs of your hooks to ease in release and minimize
trauma?
I do it’s a good idea

Good question!
That's the new Plano Edge tackle tray buddy!
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I have yet to get a bite on a bucktail.
