How to Wetsand a Surfboard Hotcoat | Epoxy Board Building

In this video I share my favorite way to sand a surfboard now. Using a wet sanding method that keeps the dust down to zero. Previously I was sanding my hotcoat/sealcoat using a just dry 100-120 grit sandpaper but I finally found a source for 120 grit that is wet/dry.

A nice big kitchen or car washing sponge would be a help with that setup. Maybe a natural or an artificial chamois, too. Good tips.

Nope just plain water works fine. Maybe if you had amine blush you could throw a few drops of dish detergent in it.
