This actually isn’t a bad game to play. It’s an arcade beat em up. And it’s more fun than it looks. I got it to play it with my kids. And we had fun. Shredders revenge is way better. But we still had fun with this.
@@terrencepoinsett4169 I never said the bar was high. I didn’t hype this game up. I said it was better than it looks. And yes. Playing it with my kids was probably more enjoyable than if I were to play it alone.
My kids and I love the 2012 cartoon, we got every single episode downloaded of the day of release, this game is a really nice addition to the series and is actually quite good fun, has lots of nice cameos of loads of characters from the cartoon, if you're a really serious gamer and like to critique everything then this game probably isn't for you as some bits don't add up but if you want to play just for fun then go for it.
Personally, with the exception of the remastered classic arcade TMNT game you'd think they'd have evolved the game play with technology but nope, we still get arcade style game play. What a joke!
I think instead of critiquing this game as they did they looked as if they were trying to make a masterpiece, this game was intended and made for kids ages 5 - 12 and thus was judged unfairly, is it on the level of better games no, is it a master class on the vain of God of war or ninja gaiden no, it's a classic arcade that plays similar to the original arcade game, IGN gave it a six and in my opinion a six it is, the game is just meant for stupid fun you sit down with your kids with nothing more.
Nah this sound like people that played the game Shredders Revenge expected an older game to incorporate the same fighting mechanics which it wasn’t released in that format. And this was an arcade game released when arcades were very much on the outs. Meaning most people were not on the lookout for this game when it came out.
@@djdeadly246 well it good for preservation there are many amazing arcade games that aren't playable without a emulator. spike-out was lucky it was included in like a dragon infinite wealth. megaman x dive was garbage but many people appreciate the offline edition unlike other live service games that are made unplayable.
It's going to have to have a major price drop for me... I got to that part of the video so at this point everything about this game looks fairly uninspired and uninteresting but hey it's Ninja turtles right? Then I hear the price being 29.99..... I pretty much stopped there. It's not a game I'd consider for anymore then 5 dollars honestly.
wow, thank god I didn't get this game. I was really going to get it and spend 30 dollars. I did like the arcade game. Edit: I caved in and bought the game but it's still really fun.

@@guntherhuemer1767 I can agree with COD,but the Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry franchises should never be examples of less quality. I like more this title than the other. Haha
Yeah I played turtles in time with my kids. Do you need to have several copies of the game or can you play with just one copy of the game?
People don’t understand that this was a Dave and busters and meant for a quick fun time
I don't understand the Dave & Busters economy. I don't even understand the real life economy
Donatello "Turtle Power" special move has him conducting electricity...from a wooden bo staff???
Yeah, he did the exact same thing in the 2007 game. Nothing new for him
Also he's a mutant turtle...

It's a home console version of a 7 year old arcade game with extra levels. Very short but incredibly fun.

They need to remaster the 2003 series games
I thought this was a mobile game holy sh*t 😂
Definitely going to buy this but I'll wait till it's on sale for like $10 it's certainly not worth $30 that's way too much for this game
Looks dreadful
This is totally garbage 😂, just stick with Cowabunga Colection and Shredder's Revenge
Why does Gamemill Entertainment keep making crap licensed video games?
Nothing will beat the original arcade cabinet from the 90’s… nothing
$29.99? It's $39.99 plus tax in Canada sheesh. I'll wait for a price drop to check this out. It looks really bland compared to Shredder's Revenge too

No dodge, delayed jump response, limited moves, npc allies seem weak. Meh.
Trash in the first 30 seconds. But I'm here to support the channel
It's actually new it's gonna get better
Now I’m going to get two copies😂
The 2012 Turtles deserve better 😔
Where is the online co op

Is this like a remake of a game? I’m just confused why they’re making a game based on the 2012 turtles so long after it’s ended?
not surprised that a game from the same people responsible for the Kong and walking dead games ended up being shit😂
No Thanks ! Shredders Revenge Wins !
I like it
You can't even dodge attacks in the game. What in the world?
They just had to go and return to awful tmnt games
Feels like a badly made arcade game from the early 2000s, I think that's the best description I can give
