What bothers me the most is how can someone do anything like this? Throw acid on someone's face, stab or shoot someone over an argument. Disgusting.
Acid attacks are just on another level. Permanent chronic pain, disfigurement or blindness is just horrible...

A friend's boyfriend threatened to throw acid at her after breaking up with her. So, here i am
How's she now? Is she okay? Please take care of her and if possible report the boyfriend to police for threatening with such attacks
You should have recommended that the person runs for safety and seeks help with watter on the affected areas, with plenty of water until the burning sensation is gone
I know this might sound a bit stupid and it’s been covered mostly before, but what do you think about using a backpack as a potential shield against a knife or a baseball bat attack? Assuming there’s some stuff in it to take the impact and also be light enough to manoeuvre. Also I don’t mean to stay in that range of course, but moving in to jam and trap their weapon
I would think it would be worth it to remember it for those situations. Hopefully, it doesnt come to that

The most important thing about an acid attack is to exit the situation and put the affected areas under running water. ideally take a 1-3 hour shower

In a similar fashion in UK people will use acid during a waterboarding session so, if you make a video on how to counter-waterboard that would be helpful defense against a torturer

Women need to know how to defend themselves from acid attacks because women get attacked the most due to gender discrimination and or misogyny.
Anyone who uses acid genuinely deserves the gallows, I’ve seen what that can do to people and I have no problem whatsoever with them subhuman scum being disposed of accordingly. I hope nobody has to defend against that, but if they do god forbid, that they hopefully react in a way similar to this to minimise the damage.

I'm suddenly anxious about an acid attack due to my ex boyfriend who was really toxic and a narcissist. It has been more than 3 years since we broke up but I sometimes get these panic attacks that he might be planning something against me

How about not selling acids in the first place?!?!!
That would be tough to do since acid is found in car batteries, drain cleaner, and other products. It's pretty easy for people to get ahold of it.
Funfact, most acid used in acid attacks can easily get past this defense. Better than nothing though. I use acid for home defense, so I know a lot about the effects of different acids. My spray most likely could get someone with just a spray to the chest. I also use it as a bear spray. It would most likely kill it, like it would with most living things.
