Hey great segment. Although I read all the lore, it's always great to hear another articulation of the mythos. That being said, there is a great 40k novel, if you can find it, called The Eye if Terror. In that book there is a great interaction with a Bloodthirster of Khorne and a Lord of Change. This interaction definitely give you some insight in the two greater deamon's motivations and desires. It's just a fantastic book all the way around.

Given how heavily inspired Warhammer is by Elric of Melniboné, I really think we need to stop thinking about order being a preferable alternative to chaos 😶
Please make a Lore video about the realm of death factions. Rattlebones and vampires and ghosts. I saw the one on the flesh eating courts and it was awesome and I'd love to learn more about how the realm of death works and the factions in it
I'm going to hold off until this new Nagash book comes out with updated lore... but trust me... the moment it's available I'll have an entire week (or two) devoted to death lore. Been waiting for so long
The only von carstein we know that made it into the new lore is Mannfred. As for Vlad and Isabella, there's been no mention of them so far. Im hoping there will be something in the Nagash battletome coming out soon!
I am trying to create a Lore friendly Duradin Faction that enbodys all 3 factions to work together in harmony. Your Videos on both the FyreSlayers and the Kharadron Overloards have been huge in helping find a way to make it work. Would it be possible for you in the future to create a Dispossessed Lore video? I understand the beginning of their life within the Age of Myth and what happened to them in the Age of Chaos, But not much within the Age of Sigmar after the Gates of Azyrheim opened.
Hi there! Well first off Im glad that my videos could help in some way :) Truth be told, we dont really have any lore in AOS for the dispossessed specifically. We get hints that there are duardin living among the other surviving races of men and aelves but that's about it (aside from Overlords and Fyreslayers. That said, they flexibility opens up an empty canvas for you to do just about anything with them. If you can make a narrative to pair fyreslayers and Overlords, then filling in the gap (aesthetically) with dispossessed that have bits from both is a breeze!
My theory: Daemons haven't changed, but the nature of the mortal realms, each realm being a manifestation of magic, makes everywhere a lot more like the realm of chaos.
A very fair idea, and one with a good basis. I think its somewhere in the middle: -You are correct in that the "Good Gods" are more like their chaos counterparts -They shape the realms around them in their image, like the chaos gods -they often have a race specifically imbued with their power as daemons due (SE, Sylvaneth etc.) The big takeaways from this episode are that both sets of gods are much more concrete, they have a physical form but simultaneously exist everywhere.
He can quite happily kill Allarielle in 1 turn with plenty damage to spare. If he's out of combat for a turn then attacks you can go 4+ with re-rolls with slaughter, 8 attacks, wounding on 3's re-rolling and having rend -2 damage 3. Then carnage hits on 4's re-rolling with 1 attack, then automatically does 8 wounds with no saves allowed. Then consider that you could run him with a bloodsecrator and a unit of wrathmongers and suddenly carnage has 3 attacks. That's a potential 24 wounds with no saves. Note that they aren't mortal wounds either and they bypass all abilities that saves wounds such as deathless thralls or disgustingly resilient. Then after that you've got 10 attacks with slaughter. Hell if you play it right you could also pop bloodtithe for another bonus attack.
Exactly, it's insane right? How can GW only price him at only half the price of Nagash lol? He should be banned from the Table right now, until they balance his cost. The current magic system (lack of spell diversity and options), and point cost/balancing, in AoS just gives me a headache right now. But it's got a lot of potential though.
