Friends, some of you have shown a concern that Mutual Funds are shown in negative light in the video and that limitations of Smallcases were missing in the video. That was certainly not the intention. The intention of this video is to make people aware about Smallcase, another good option for equity investments and do a tutorial around that. Mutual Funds definitely have good use case for a lot of people. We will do a more detailed comparison in an upcoming video.
why not buy small cap MF , its given huge returns Last year n before also, im starting Nippon SCap @20 2012,13 around,, now 75 Nav, easily Sip stock specific, we monitor daily with news , price action, lots of mind puzzle.. Mf given best returns if u hv good mf, compare to stock basket
MF gave best returns. You are quoting that MF does not beat Nifty returns which is completely false. If you want to promote Smallcases you do it, no issue. But don't share false info and misguide people.
Buying mutual fund charges approx 1.5% pa while in small case subscription charges, buying & selling charges, rebalancing selling and buying charges. Also STCG will be applicable. Aur small case me sip kare to har sip payment pe charges dene hoge ya one time he. Please if you explain it will be helpful is this costlier for small investor who does sip.
My exp with smallcase - As a low income person, I was looking for a smallcase below 500₹. I found one amd bought it. Then I came to know that they charge 200₹ extra per transaction.. so each smallcase txn cost me 700 per month.. plus while selling I paid fixed NSDL charges on per scrip per day basis. (18.50₹ * 6 shares) + 3-5 ₹ brokerage If I would have started a MF SIP of 500 ₹ even after paying 1% expense ratio, I would have made much more in return. Conclusion: smallcase is just another "fad" and not suitable for small investors
Yes small case is good for a lumpsum amount for long term growth. Then also there will be extra expenses for each rebalance update. But in that case the ROI will be significantly high. So, only for a lumpsum of minimum 50k to 1 lakh its good. Otherwise not.
I am extremely happy that you spoke about it clearly. (Charges) nobody didn't even bother to talk about it in their videos. Even if the video is sponsored you spoke about charges. You gained respect.... Respect+++
I see this idea of small case being professed by everyone on youtube these days. But I still could not figure out why these are better options than mutual fund. Just because it consistently beat the index fund in last 3 years or is it because people just investing in it because of FOMO. I have few questions regarding all these and please try to explain them with data in the upcoming video. 1. Small cases are way more expensive than mutual fund. A mutual fund charges 1% at max if you go through direct investment while for small case we have to pay 6000 which is 1% of 600000. So the investment does not make any sense if we want to start low. If I want to invest 50k the expense ration becomes 12% and if it does not earn a min of 18% considering inflation the money is a sheer Waste. Bottom line you need more and more money so that the expense ration comes down. 2. Most of the rebalancing will account for short term gain/loss making it a costly business and cutting down my profits. 3. A simple index fund return of 13% can give you more profit if you are a small investor than a small case. 4. Who is managing my money is not clear. We only know about the fund house and not the managers in case of small case. While we can do a deep study about fund house manager and understand his was of investing in mutual fund. 5. People calling it that we do not have visibility about which stocks are there in portfolio. Mutual fund declarations can be read and in case of small case I do not understand what is the use of visibility when I am not doing research. It is just that I can look at stocks without any idea and analysis. I am not a great investor but have just started my journey. And I found these as fundamental problems with small case. Please help me in clarifications as I want to understand it in better way.
There are 2-3 youtubers I trust. Asset yogi is one of them. A beginner video of smallcase I was searching for, I open asset yogi.,and there it is. Simple, beautiful and informative like other videos of him. Thanks Mukul sir.
Sir September month me smallcase ke charges kuch change hue h..ek new video is par full detail video banaiye investment ko lekar confusion ho Raha h .😂😂❤❤
Very well presented sir. It covers many aspects and a beginner's querries are already answered in the video! Also it adds to knowledge for those who are seeking new avenues for investment. Thanks for coming up with this Gem. Keep growing in this field and be guiding light. Stay blessed
I think fees of Rs 6000/- should be reduced to 50% so that more people can subscribe and benefit the masses moreover small case as company will have more cuatomera and more revenue. I appreciate the fund managers time and knowledge to make such small cases but once its made they just need to review and send updates for rebalancing its been subscribed by so many people so cost reduction is justifiable
Thanku for your valuable videos sir. Sir small case mein invest karte time 100 rs charge lagta hai aur sir withdraw karte time ya maturity ke time bhi koi fees lagti hai kya. Please rplt soon Thanku
I just exited all my small cases today after investing for 6 months. I was predominately mutual fund investor for past 15 yrs or so. So I’m a long term investor but have been investing in stock market for the past 6 months. I invested some money thru small case, some based on my very basic research and understanding of Indian economy, and some in top performing mutual funds. I kept buying on dips in all 3 different options listed above. As of today both my stock and mutual fund investments are in heavy green (10-12% high) but all small cases are in red or just about even. It’s a piece of crap actually, guys go with mutual funds and you won’t repent. So guys use your own brain and do bare min research and invest. Atleast you won’t have to blame anyone for investing with your own thoughts instead of putting blind trust in products like small case
The problem with Indian companies is they charge more to few(Its a chicken-Egg problem) while the companies in west follow charge less to more customers. I feel that is the reason in west you found the market footprint is huge.
1 questions... 1 year ke subscribtion leke hum ne invest kar diya to kya every year hame subscription lena padega, Or agar nahi liya to kya mera small case portfolio sell kar diya jayega ya hum usey sell ya buy nahi kar sakte. Please solve my confusion
While rebalancing we need buy and sell as per small case suggestions, then we need to pay brockrage charge to zerodha or groww etc.. its an extra cost again. Incase of mutual fund the fund manager also do rebalancing. Can you explain charges more clearly including rebalancing.
Another masterpiece Sir❤. Assuming if I buy a small case, which contains approximately 10 stocks. But I sell one of them completely, after few days. How will the rebalancing happen with the next update?
Should we continue subscribing to a small case until we redeem it ? Most subscription come for 1 yr like in the case of windmill but we can keep the investment for more than 1 yr.
Sir i have one doubt regarding the money that we r investing. Is it suppose to be monthly or annually or one time. Because if i check while purchasing the stocks in All weather it asks for the option monthly or one time. Plz share ur comment what to be done and for how much time. Is it like SIP, please help as i am a beginner

Mahendraji, generally MFs include dividends in their returns whereas Nifty index only captures share price movement.

Absolutely correct, Thanks for sharing your experience. We can easily go for MF rather such things.

This is the reason I never choose or recommend to peoples of small case.

Smallcase is one of the best invention I would say! Pretty easy to check and use!

While rebalancing small case, what about capital gains and taxes?
While rebalancing we need buy and sell as per small case suggestions, then we need to pay brockrage charge to zerodha or groww etc.. its an extra cost again.
Incase of mutual fund the fund manager also do rebalancing.
Can you explain charges more clearly including rebalancing.
