Love Reg's humour and intelligence. If you look at his early work he was talking at 100mph like Eddie Murphy or somebody. Now that he's calmed down and you can hear that Southern drawl he's in a league of his own. Very smart and very funny guy.
Suffering cats, but Tubridy made a balls of that interview. Most of the questions he asked are well-documented and would be known to Reggie's Irish fanbase anyway. He also seemed weirdly uncomfortable and kept cutting Reggie off before he really got a chance to get going.

just watched a bbc breakfast show interview with reginald, which was a 100 times better and more informative than this... and it was bbd breakfast!

Great answer. I was not happy about Trump winning but I was not thrilled with the prospect of Hillary Clinton as president either.

Reginald D Hunter seems like such a nice guy. I wonder if he gets annoyed when, in interviews like this, the topic of race always seems to pop up but even if he does, he doesn't show it. Just gives honest answers.
I don't know why there are some negative comments here about Tubridy - he seems ok to me.
To be fair his comedy is based around race. Which is very American.
Reginald is a great guy, he does show why he prefers Ireland and puts his points across brilliantly.
The interviewer was a bit stale, but it didn’t harm things because he did give the right questions to allow Reg to talk.

Reg turned up at a certain Glasgow comedy club many years back with a Californian blunt and asked the staff who are all gay “do you want to get stoned”. They all got so stoned they freaked out as they were due to open up. The guy who told me smoked regularly and said he had two draws and was completely stoned for 4 hours. A few staff were still stoned when they came back the next night which suggests psychosis as it shouldn’t last so long.

Recently went to see him live. As the only black person in the audience, the N word felt very strange. Then I realised that if I walked down the street and someone yelled this at me what would be the difference?

Why is Mr Tubrity still doing the Late Late when he is rubbish. He is not natural, he has no flow, he does not do his homework, he does not use his imagination, he does not have a laugh, he sticks to whats on his cards regardless of the last conversation being more fun and he kills the mood.
