I’m so glad I found this video! What a genius way of using the smaller size plate. Kudos. I so respect your authentic spirit of experimentation. I am reminded of your motto. 🎉
This is also a fabulous example of your “dialogue” with your art - always listening to the direction you and your art are taking together - talk about inspiration!!! 😮

I was going to ask in previous videos if you ever did curved brayer lines, but thought it might be presumptuous, now here we are.
Nothing like coffee hour and watching your calm print creation.

Wonderful pieces, Fulton. I especially love how the ghost print turned out.
I remember you mentioning that no matter which tape you use it pulls up some of the paper. I have found that true as well. My solution to that is using a heat gun or hair drier on the tape before pulling. Works every time.

Thanks for generously sharing your printmaking experiments with us. I like the contrasting marks made with the brayer and thinner sgraffito lines. Inspiring me to print!

I really like what you did with these 2 prints. The experiment with the brayer turned out great. Always love your color choices....especially the ghost print! I so enjoy watching you create.

I really love both of these prints - each is different but beautiful and very painterly. Great technique, will give this a try. Thinking of getting a larger plate, you are such an inspiration. Love the music, so relaxing. Thanks so much, so enjoyed this.

Beautiful textures created Fulton. I enjoyed the vibrant colours as well. Adding the collage pieces always seem to bring the work together. Cheers Olga.

Good morning! What a wonderful video to see first thing this beautiful Saturday! You are so inspiring! Love the bright color combinations and using the brayer as a brush! To keep from using several brayers, you can always use a roll off sheet, which will then be the start of another background. But you do a great job with the one brayer, without mixing the paints!! Fabulous! Thank you!!!!!!! 💓

next time you make acetate or plastic stencils, since they last a while, maybe put little scotch tape handles on the backs. i think they might stick up enuff to help you locate and remove the stencils??? 😊

no, I'd rather not as they get in the way during cleaning. Thanks for watching!

I like the marks of the brayer very much ! It seems to me that the pick-up layer over the dried paint always works better when it is a thin layer where you almost can see through. So if you had dried the second layer of the first print and then applayed a thin pick-up layer you probably would have been able to transfer the whole better. Better, btw. does not necessarily mean a better image. Lovely colors too. Thanks again for the video !

Putting together a solid body of work for an art show. Covid had put a halt on everything, but I must be patient!
