Happy birthday Elliott 🎉 Lovely scenery on your walk, very enjoyable. It looked rather fresh and a bit slippery in places. I’m glad Sue didn’t have any mishaps 😂. Hope the heels have stopped hurting mate, have a great weekend guys xx
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY Elliott!! THAT was an incredible walk, thank you to both of you. The views were truly spectacular of both the countryside and homes. WOW to have two owls in one day pass by. The second one was probably a birthday gift from Josh. Had the two of you considered getting a pair of proper boots when you do hikes like this one?? Sue is it not great that you don't have to pick up after Charlie or restrain him when other dogs are around? Yes, some cattle can be cantankerous when they have a calf to look after, while others just don't care. All four of you have a very safe week. Mark Alberta, Canada
Thanks Mark - we really enjoyed the walk. How do you mean proper boots out of interest? We think you might be right on owl number 2, thanks Josh!! We’re glad you enjoyed it 👍
Proper boots = high top wellington type boot to get you through the wet foliage and muddy toe paths. Over here we have a choice between 12" or 16" high rubber boot.@@ExploreTheUK1
Hi 👋guys, another lovely walk off the Tow path, boy England really does have some remarkable scenery and gorgeous architecture, love all the old buildings. One suggestion if you guys are going to be doing a lot of walking about you "might" want to invest in a couple of telescopic walking sticks that you could pull out your pockets for when the paths get a little dicey or slippery, might just prevent a slip and fall ,also by using walking sticks it is easier on your back and feet cuz it promotes better posture when walking, professional hikers swear by them for just that reason, just a thought maybe it could help you both, anyway as I always say "keep pushing on"💪 " hi👋👋from Michigan. ..Kevin
Great walk out with Sue and Charlie you forgotten the poop bags! 💩 So much wet boggy mud its horrendous you done well to get through it a bit if wall hugging. Loved the fact you had a pie on a walk and a hobgoblin beer. Find those beers a bit strong myself. Cold pie yuk lol. Properties looked fab 👌 nice nice nice views too even the farms were cool 😎 Hope your feet recover nice hot bowl of bovril lol to drink and hot water for your feet lol. Owl x2 really cool first was a barn owl 🦉 lovely to see them we usually when in Cornwall out the back of padstow we have seen them at dusk when we're out just before dark to see bats and return in pitch black down the narrow lanrs with bats swooping past is fantastic especially for little millie. Loved the video great walk 🚶♂️ few walks here in brinklow to take you on to see some historic bits.... Some are older than me😅 possibly you too Elliott... too old that there are no records to date one place...😊 Stay safe and dry kev the Brinklow kayaker
That’s the thing with Charlie you see, you don’t even need poop bags - result!! A pie and a beer at lunch and bovril after the walk, fantastic 😎😎 Glad you enjoyed it Kev 👍
Bet you slept well on your birthday night. Have you thought about using something like 'map my walk' so you could show a visual of the route taken? Also, I think they will give a height profile of the walk too. Hope you both have a good week, are you moving on Josh at the moment?
Oh yes, we slept superbly. Thanks for the tip on the map walk, we’ll check that out 👍 We’re not moving at the minute because we have so much on but looking forward to it being a bit less manic and getting on the move again 👍

Hey Kevin - thanks for the message. We’ll look into the idea of walking sticks because they might well work!!
