For some reason, softkeys wouldn't open for me, but because I saw your video I downloaded something called Navigation Bar and that works. So does Gesture Control, by the way, and that works great. I happen to have the same phone as you do. That can't be coincidence. I have damage in the exact same place.

The back button on my home screen functions everywhere EXCEPT on my home screen. There I have to swipe to move from screen to screen and there alone. I had messed with some settings and forgotten what I did. Must I keep this software installed once fixed? I'm afraid to do anything now.

When I go into the app I can slide the app back to on but after a couple of minutes the devil that lives in my phone turns the buttons off again.... I hate technology
I have a very specific problem, only back button is working. Even using this app, only back button works. And i have other system problems, like notification not appearing and i can't download apps from play store.

That said, the soft buttons on my Huawei sit above the originals and in the space where you type for a whatsapp, so unless I shrink them they cover the type space. I can see from the comments that I seem to be the only person with this problem...no surprise there
