Yea this is my fav series by far. I started doing my own linebacker career in madden cuz it looked so fun
When guessing the play madden sometimes just forgets to show you the primary route, for me just spamming rt usually works. Also I’ve noticed that to record a tackle it has to be only you, even if a teammate touches the ball carrier during a tackle animation it’ll be an assist
when you tackle someone but one of your teammates touches the ballcarrier too , it registers as an assisted tackle
Which is a shitty flaw but can’t ask a lot from EA.

You have to take coach cam off to reset the play art when they audible. It can also be tough to see the primary route because it's highlighted in red, like just like if you were on offense. So its finnicky, but still good!

2-4 dbl mug nickel mid blitz works really well if you have another solid linebacker alongside you. I got blessed with Demario Davis. It’s good to run a couple of times back to back but then a one or two play switch tends to reset the CPU.

I feel like the INTS are kinda buggy, I put my user directly in front of the ball and they will watch it go past them and not give any effort whatsoever to try catching the ball
the whole tackling works weird. If you make the tackle, but your teammate is around to even sniff the guy, you only get credit for half a tackle/combined tackle. which is what shows up as "tackle assist" which is what happened at 6:25 its dumb because they don't count towards your tackle goals, but they'll count towards your "total tackles" in your stats

It only shows the tackle if you got a solo tackle, the assisted tackles don’t count towards the season goal which is really dumb since if one guy touched the ball Carrier and you light them up it counts as an assist sometumes

If you run commit on all madden the cpu knows and will switch to a pass play
One thing I’ve learned about the career mode MLB is if your teammate is in the same area code as you, you always get tackle assists 😢

You need to get more practice in at defending passing lanes, you keep doing the drills on tackling the qb but that’s not what I’d be doing. You need better work in pass coverage

The tackling has been horrible this yr seems like whatever defender u use MLB or CB your guy always slides just past the ball carrier or u get shoved or broken tackle and if u don't line that hit stick up right it's a massive whiff they nerfed the heck out of tackling this yr so pathetic games u should've won u lose the ones u should lose u win great series anyway
