- This run could've been much faster (I'm thinking of a low 6, that would be pretty nice) but this is the best time that we got before the end of the season.

The stasis crystal at the beginning to skate was big brain, its little bits like this that makes speed runs so cool
it's common tech, kinda mad that i didn't get a clean start in this run

@@seaniesean5 :D its a super cool trick, similar teixk can be used in VOG templar encounter to get insta ultimate wirh the relic. i think you pick up the flag and shatterdive in the same second to pickup the relic fastern than the super-bar fills up

So the warlock can go out of bounds and get a checkpoint at the boss
1 player, class doesn't matter, can go out of bounds while the other 2 fight harpy and jump down to get the boss cp

@@ThePalebloodMaiden irb stands for "interdimensional res breach". you set your spawn point by dying in another load zone (for easier access) but at the coordinates where you want to go, then you head to the load zone in which you want to glitch into something and die to the load (individual for every zone), now all you need is an autorez (you can't just revive yourself) triggered by a cp in your activity, showing on screen "revived ". here is a video of someone doing it in this dungeon: th-cam.com/video/tsDPg0Aydf8/w-d-xo.html

do you use the crystal for consistency at the start opposed to a grounded skate? or does the speed difference make up the setup time?
my ground lines aren't that consistent and i prefer a heavy skate over a light one, idk which start is faster with perfect execution but it shouldn't be a big difference

How do you get the first boss to still be vulnerable after the damage phase, that shit was crazy
U can stun the boss after a certain damage threshold and it would extend the damage

i've seen strand skating only on slopes and stairs, idk if it works on crystals and flat edges
How did you get your super back so fast during dmg phase? That was nuts!
you can set the rally flag in the moment the encounter starts and it will be there forever (doesn't work in every encounter), then you can grab the flag whenever you need it (in this case mid damage phase), you can use it only once tho like normal
How do u fire more than 2 shadows hotspot? Mine only let's me use it twice per super usage. Also, those shatter skates were nice

They give an extra volley for the multi shot
Or for the single shot it lasts longer and refunds up to half your super energy.

it doesn't exist anymore because they introduced a new mod system in lightfall. you just want to have surge mods on your legs, dexterity mods on your arms and targeting mods on your helmet for the element type of your weapons. and dodging with the one solar aspect gives your weapons even more dexterity.
Can you tell me What perks did you have on your 7 seraph shootgun?

Why not use a crafted red herring instead of bad omens?
i have a crafted one with lasting impression but it's worse on persys due to the rockets being delayed and you can't pre-fire
How did u swap weapons so fast? I thought quick swaps got nerfed
the old hot swap canceled the whole stow/ready animation, this is just a faster animation due to dexterity mods and the solar hunter aspect, it is pretty close to the old swaps
How do you go fast/further with the sword
sword light attack in the air (obviously works best with eager edge) + switch weapons, that will keep your momentum. after that you can jump and dash (warlock) to make it even further and chain your momentum. what i'm doing in the beginning is called shatter skating (the fast momentum boosts), it basically cancels out your heavy attack mid air after launching from a ledge. there are a lot of movement guides for destiny 2 that will help for sure.

So have you discovered a consistent way to push the harpy boss to continue damage. I have done it several times but never figured out why it happens?

See it's HP bar during DPS. You'll see the marker that you have to beat to prolong DPS
it's more than 50%, it's at about 40-45% health remaining
You seem to be quite adept with shatterscating so I’ll ask you this, could you theoretically make a macro for it?
yes, you can macro it but the timing depends on the distance to the edge, so for a macro to work consistently you have to have around the same distance every time, at 60 fps well/shatterdive activation is around 6-8 frames after the eager swing (standing close or on the edge), jump is anywhere in between but i could be wrong

@@truth6191 i macro'd my shatterskate and it works fine. have to hold forward while you do it though so you can be where you need to be from the ledge and the timing on that takes a bit of practice.
Why were you switching guns like that on the first boss?
it's called hot swapping or quick swapping, it is like if you would shoot both guns at the same time at their max rpm, not 100% but it's close

@@treniii yes, they do the entrance as normal and then have to make their way down to the load zone, after that i can enter the ascend load zone and pull

which one do you mean (time stamp)? in general: how far your skate goes is based on fps (more fps = more distance). also i think basic eager edge is a 0.9x multiplier for lunge distance compared to enhanced, so it decreases the skate distance, too. not 100% sure tho if it really is like this.

@@critMillserund i didn't grab the banner in the beginning, i only used it at the end of the damage phase. in some encounters you can put down the banner at the same time as the encounter starts and it will remain there, then you can grab later on when you need it.
permaflagged at the start of the encounter and then activated the rally banner past the halfway point. watch again paying attention and you will understand
