The first mission and then the 'Call of Duty Modern Warfare' intro felt like a movie. Me and my brothers all went 'ooooh' collectively haha. Good times.
So much better than mw2. Honestly thought they dropped the ball going way ott, felt like a mess imo. As someone who started with cod1 I thought mw2 was too much a leap and felt detached from the brilliance of cod4. Unfortunately I felt like IW made the same mistake with mw22 compared to mw19. It’s like they can’t help themselves Edit: forgot to mention how refreshing cod4 was when it dropped. We were saturated with ww2 shooters and modern day with cod just worked so well and being a cod fan already it just clicked. It’s hard to describe just how this stood out from the competition at the time
I bet this was epic to play back in the day with really nothing other than WWII games to play. I’d have to agree, Infinity Ward flys too close to the sun every few games. I have not been a huge fan of MWII. Thanks for the great comment!
