Those guys split apart right at the time special forces dropped; looking back years later those games (SF/Mythologies) were awesome; Taking chances vs making a good game goes two ways; shaolin monks had alot of kontent and varying methods for playthrough
Honestly wish we had more games like this in general. The beat 'em up genre, although most are very archaic and bland nowadays, its a genre with _a lot_ of potential for creative and interesting combat. You only see a few games that deliver on that premise and some of the best ones tend to be indie games or fan games. I just miss the days when we had games that focused on "upping the ante" in the combat department. Games that gave you as many options as possible and were flashy and over the top and gave you cool moves and characters to play as. It seems like that's no longer a big thing with video games.
Games are too focused on pushing agendas and selling microtransactions these days to focus on cool combat mechanics. Indie devs will always impress though, it’s just a matter of finding them

If you do the fatality on the first stage of Mythologies, you'll have to fight Scorpion again in the prison with the exact same costume used in this game. In addition, you GSTAR321 does his fatality on Sareena, therefore, making it harder to defeat Quan-Chi, for if he would have spared her, she would have interrupted the fight and killed Quan Chi in hope of Sub-Zero helping her escape the Netherrealm before Shinnok steps in and kills her. But I digress, let's watch this man kick some butt!

How does the "Warriors" miraculously figure out that Shang Tsung is behind the "conspiracy" with absolutely NO EVIDENCE to support that idea? I also guess that Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, being powerful sorcerors and all, decided "why use the, supposedly, GREAT POWER of the amulet what-its-name against ninja that just cut through legions of our underlings when we can take them on ourselves" x_x And I love the subtitle "Outworld Assassins"... considering NONE of the main characters is even directly affiliated with Outworld :D The heart-warming ending also deserves a mention with each of the protagonists going their SEPARATE ways with Scorpion returning to Hell and Noob touring the Netherrealm... yeah, aren't those two ONE AND THE SAME in MK universe? ^^' I guess with the title "Mortal Kombat: Outworld Assassins" the makers of this game figured "hey, its got MK in the title, so people will play it, we don't need to bother with implementing ANY sort of lore from the actual MK games" 0.o I'm gonna skip how half the game basically uses MK Mythologies stages, while the evil legions (bosses aside) pretty much sport the whole of like 4 types of adversaries. Though one could make a demanding drinking game while watching and take a shot every time "FUCK" is said in the video :D

The fighting in this game is remarkably fluid despite being on the very hit or miss OpenBOR engine.
