In these walkthrough videos I show how to complete all Side-Missions as well as point out the locations of all unlockables (hidden characters, alternate costumes etc).
Mortal Kombat : Deception is my personal favourite '3D' Mortal Kombat game. Released in 2004, two years after Deadly Alliance, this game delivers in both quality AND quantity.
The game contains an abundance of 'Kontent'. Not only do we have the traditional one-on-one fighting modes; this game also contains 'Chess Kombat' & 'Puzzle Kombat', two excellent new additions.
Also, Konquest mode makes a return from Deadly Alliance, although here it is a full-blown RPG set in the Mortal Kombat universe. It is the main reason why Deception is my favourite '3D' Mortal Kombat game.
A MUST own game for Mortal Kombat fans.

The part of the story they didn't mention was the poor baker was fired, his wife divorced him and he spent the rest of his days a bum obsessed with flour for some unknown reason, All because of shujinko didn't deliver that bag of flour.

Very nostalgic walkthrough series. Every day after school id literally play this game for hours! I loved unlocking new things and seeing the easter eggs. Great game!
Is no one going to mention that Shujinko uses his "adult" voice when talking to Kung Lao and not his "grandpa" one?

Maybe it's one of those beta things they forgot to fix. Maybe in earlier versions you could reach Kung Lao as adult Shujinko (hence why he sounds younger) but then the idea was scrapped and they forgot to redub those lines with old Shujinko.

i spent way too many hours this summer watching your deception walkthoughs, by watching them over and over again. great series man!
I watched all of your walkthrough without having to skip up any point of all 13 videos. To me is more like a therapy and relaxing time with a game that I played hundreds of hours in 2004. I completed all objectives and finished Arcade mode on max difficulty without dying. So, is a pleasure watch your MK Deception videos after 15 years of my first gameplay experience because this game is one of the best on it's generation and we know the arguments to confirm it.
Back to your videos, I must say: it is a masterpiece, cause you got every detail, observation, commentary with stylish and autheticity. I agree with your opinions and tastes, something like 95% of your commentaries, at least. Feeling all that kind of memoirs and that atmosphere again with your shares, is priceless. So, I wanna thank you for all that care on this beautiful walkthrough. Thank you!
I’d like to imagine the baker right now is still standing in his home, has a long white beard, cobwebs all over him, covered in dust, thinking “oh, I’m sure that boy Shujinko will come in any second now with that bag of flour...any second now...”

***** Do whatever it takes. Use the wrath of Ekajati from Cursed mountain, the rocket launcher from Resident Evil, even use the sack of flour if it would help but however you do it you have to defeat Shang Tsung!

I believe it's interchangeable, sorta like Rayden in early MK games turning into Raiden in later MK games

So... Mokap says that he gives you 20 bucks (safe to assume that's USD, he's from Chicago after all) after giving him the Chaos-to-Earth Map, but then you're given 400 Platinum Koins. So, I got to thinking...
400 Koins = $20 USD
÷20 ÷20

20 Koins = $1 / 100¢ USD
÷ 20 ÷20(¢)

1 Platinum Koin = 5¢

Seriously this guy makes hour long videos on games people hardly touch here in TH-cam but still the subscriber count isn't as high as it should be, the amount of content and work that goes into just one of his videos easily shuns any mainstream youtuber that only does a quick 6 minute video just to gain those desired likes they need

13:56 I literally just completed these fight challenges with no stress at all. Kobra was the easiest out of them because I used Kobra and all I did was spam Kobra's square, square, x, x combo and I beat him. For Kabal I used Mileena and pretty much just spammed Teleport Kick and her square, square, x combo. And to defeat Kira I used Ashrah and I used her ten hit combo that you showed us at the beginning of the video and Kira went down and I went through the portal and got my koins. So that's basically all you need to do and you'll be golden.

I freaking HATED doing Kyra's training...I dunno how it is for PS but on Xbox it's awful...out of all the difficult tasks in this game, it was the only thing I was never able to eventually do. I think it was because of the fact that the xbox controller just didn't respond quick enough to do her more complicated combos. I tried 2 different controllers, and about 100 attempts and I never could manage to do it

I spent a good 30 minutes trying to beat that Raiden fight challenge for his alternate costume and I didn't get shit. All I got was koins.
I feel like this whole playthrough has been brought to us by Kano.
It would've been nice to see some of the newer training sessions as well as you playing as Shujinko in arcade mode with all his fighting styles unlocked. This however is still spectacular.
You were more than worthy enough to beat all fight challenges if you mastered the skill of evade then combo for extra damage.
you could redo the walk through and check your inventory to make sure you turn in the flour this time XD

This has got to be the most depressing MK game ever. Not even Bo Rai Chos' fart jokes will bring light into this dark chapter of MK history. Shujinko is an allegory for life really. We all grew up with such high hopes for life only to be shut down by the truth... all of life is a lie, a big fat cruel, painful lie! The bag of flour represents all of the things you will forever regret for not completing. Got to admit the programmers did an excellent job at bring truth about life... it is a disappointment which will eventually consume you till the day you die. Damn! Lord Shinnok was right! "The legacy of life is death!" Now I'm going to crawl into a pitch black dark hole and kill myself in honor of the Lord of Death and Truth.

Xbox received a port version of the game that basically left them with the short end on the stick. Xbox wasn't ever intended to receive mk deception
