Wow this helped a lot! I found my right painful side wrist does not go straight down, but has to angle. I broke it many moons ago, and he just pulled it without physical therapy or operation. Any thing I do and the poor muscles are in pain for days. Later, the pain is still there, but I've learned to live with it. I'm really noticing now that I broke my left wrist, after surgery, it is as if I have a new babies wrist: no pain at all. There are some nerve issues too though, but those come and go kind of like sciatica. This one has been a constant low pain, and under use it is just instant tightness, tenderness, and pain. ⭐⭐
What is a good preventative measure, so that this does not keep happening?

If I have pain when lifting a pot with my right dominant hand/arm, is this a symptom of tennis elbow?
