Well done ! I normally have to pair all of the gels I’ve used except the Eco gels such as the Olive Oil and the clear Eco Krystal. These ones have the Hydrolyzed Wheat protein that I discovered by accident when I started my curly hair journey. The Quidad Advanced Climate Control is one I discovered first around the time I was introduced to Deva Curl and the Aveda products. I love the Kinky Curly and Dippity Do but I have to pair them. I’ve really enjoyed the Curls Blueberry Bliss to pair with Quidad and Curlsmith. The Curlsmith are my go to especially the Styling Soufflé, Aqua Gel, Flexi Jelly, In Shower Style fixer, Shine gels.I want to try the Briogeo gel and the Bounce Curl but they cost more and unless I can get at TJ Maxx or Marshals, it’s out of my price range. I’ve been trying to pair mousse/foams with gel and I’m experimenting with that. My hair has a bit looser curl than yours but I guess it takes experimenting. Merry Christmas 🕊️❤️🌹
@alicesings1971 I love to hear about all the gels you've been enjoying 😀. I recently revisited my Curls Blueberry Bliss gel and still don't care for it. I'll have to try it paired with Ouidad or Curlsmith. I want to like it more because I love the scent of it. I just haven't enjoyed my results.
I'm not a fan of spray gels either, especially the GF. They still have it, but a different formula. I still have the one old too. I don't know why I'm holding on to it. 😂 I don't think I found a favorite gel yet.
I'm pretty low on GF spray gel. I just need to use it up. I know I can pair it with another gel that I like, and I'm sure it will give me decent results. Or maybe pair it with a mouse like I used to do back in the day.
