- Staring: Tim McCoy, Joyce Bryant, Dave "Tex" O'Brien
Director: Sam Newfield
Tim McCoy shines in this superb sagebrush spectacle as a government agent falsely accused of murdering a professor. Taking the identity of a Mexican vigilante leader known as "the Puma" with hopes of tracking down the real killers. Now, he finds himself putting his cowboy skills to the test while trying to catch the varmints.
Nothing like a good horse chase in these old westerns to see the horsemanship of the actors. Many were cowboys or grew up on ranches to begin with.
I see all the three star rating for this movie; Bad editing and acting. People need to understand that this was one of the first movies with sound. Before were only silent movies. No one knew hot to do this. We're looking at the infancy of what we know as movies. These are the true pioneers.
This is 1939, not 1927, sound was in for more than 10 years
Still, it took time to improve the results. These are B-westerns on low budgets.
THANK YOU
WOW --Great Western...🌵
AWESOME movie thanks for sharing. Much love from the deep freeze in Texas 😆 we are thawed out now. Your movies were great to watch. During that freak cold storm
Tim did the Mexican disguise in several movies.
Which others? Can you recall?
@@Flowerchild778 I don't recall the names but there were at least two, maybe three.
@@Flowerchild778Lightning Carson Rides Again is one in the playlist above w/Tim McCoy as a Mexican- he acts a double part.
Tim played a gringo playing a mexican / he did it better then Duncan Re aldo/ the stories were good / dialoge as well/love them all
Raiding Indian burial grounds. My, how times change.
Hey babalouie hes a quixdraw no? He was great at those shifty whites of the eyes side to side. His style of raising gun high up then shooting seems ridiculous but funny.
Just the transitions from silent films to the talkies.
Check out the horse tack !!!
3:00,is he wearing a wristwatch.
Sure looks like it.
Goodstuf
