    I called the sales department yesterday and even after I told Rick I wasn’t ready to buy, he took his time and answered all my question (I had a bunch of question). I forgot to ask about the tour pack so I dicided to see if I could find the answer in one of the many videos Jay put out, and this one did it. The bike is the same year, same color and has the removal tour pack. Thank you Volunteer Audio.

    Jay does an excellent job. He knows his business he knows the parts he knows the electronics and connections, the whole works. I love the fact that he shares that knowledge with you as he’s working on your bike and most importantly, he does not lose screws. If he takes it apart, he’s going to put it all back together and you can be secure in knowing in advance everything will work the way it should. I drove from Texas to Tennessee to get him to put a system in my road glide 3 and I love it.❤ this was the best investment I’ve made to my bike since I purchased it, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to touch my audio. If anything should happen, or I need to make a change, I will be driving back to Tennessee. The service, the system…you can’t beat it and it is well worth the trip. Thank you Volunteer Audio for putting a smile on my face and sounds on my bike..

    Jay thank you for another amazing video and the details that go into doing the installation of every single video you make. They are very helpful as I have watched them before I bought my system that I installed on my 2018 cvo street and was very impressed with how well you executed every single step of the installation. I had speakers in my bags so I didn’t have to do this step but I did go with the 6x9s in my bags so I had to do the adapters on my lids and was able to make them perfectly like you do them . Have a blessed day and thank you again talk with you soon to get my 2010 cvo street glide all decked out with you package for my bike .🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸keep up the amazing work hope to meet you some day in my travels

    I bought the si head unit last year before their release date, watched your install videos (Jay) and was able to install thee Precision Power 6/9’s for the faring and the tour pack on my 2016 Ultra Limited. But I also decided to add the PP 800 watt amp as well plus different handlebars, and a color-matched faring. So between my budget and time constraints I haven’t ridden my bike for over a year now and have only listened to my radio for about 5 minutes total. But it’s in the final stages of the rebuild now and I can hardly wait to do some serious cruising while I’m listening to my new audio set-up. Thank you for the product, the sales team, and the God given talent you have for being able to teach others how to get Harley’s sounding awesome. Your friend in Christ, Jim Harrison.

    i think a good question to address is what is the average install per setup up if performed by your shop onsite. For example, if i wanted to bring my bike by and have a vacation or if i need to turn and burn, what kind of turn around time could we expect. just a thought... great videos and really appreciate the attention to detail

    So this video has all or most of what I am upgrading to, going from ECX165.5 to the SV165 NEO in my fairing with the ST-25K-NEO tweeters where the air and oil gauges usually go. I have a 2007 Electra Glide Standard, it didn't have the gauges and I've heard amazing reviews about these tweeters. You mentioned something about shouldn't have them blowing right at your face. Are you saying they're not a good idea to use in the fairing or should be located in a different spot then what they did in the bike you're working on. Am I going with a good speaker and tweeter combination for the front? I have an original factory stereo unit with a Rockford PBR300x4 amp, I have a second amp to use for the rear if I need it. Will the ECX165.5 speakers do okay in a Tourpak? That's where I am thinking about using them. Last question are about speaker lids, best recommendations would be a 6 x 9? If it's easier to reply by email or another option let me know and I will get with you off here.
    Great video, like how you go over the little things as much as the larger things also

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The ecx speakers should not be used in Harley, they are designed for cars. The sx and sv Neo speakers are the only weather resistant speakers that are designed for Harley use. I recommend the sx165neo coaxial in the fairing and the sv165neo for tour pack, the Rockford pbr300 is way to small to properly run the hertz speakers. I recommend a single sp4.900 or sp4.500 hertz amplifier

    • @TheKerstingm
      @TheKerstingm 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It was my 1st attempt at getting sound to my Electra Glide Standard, the shop should of mentioned that little important detail lol
      Already got a pair of SV165, considering st25A tweeters, but now you got me concerned with what is mentioned about the 70's 80s rock. Basically all I listen to.

    Great Video Jay! Looks like a lot of installer errors. Is that a sound digital 1200.4 evox or evox2? The cooling fan is on the bottom of the amp. It needed to be mounted on spacers. Metra/Saddle tramp harnesses are life savers when it comes to plug and play. That bike's audio installation is an expensive mistake.

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it was the evox2 and the fan is on the bottom, terrible place to put a fan, our hertz amp requires no fan so their is no where for water to get in also

      @@volunteeraudioyea thats the old generation amp the new 800.4 dont have fans this is also not the sound digital amp that should be used many places use it with no issues I use the evops amp thats weather resistant and has a coated circuit board. • @Mr.Bell229
      @Mr.Bell229 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @blullc3002 I've had a few issues personally with sound digital amps. The vendor I purchased them from went out their way to make it right. I started with an 800.4 Evo. It was DOA from the start. Contacted my vendor. They swapped it out for an 1200.4-2ohm Evox that had just came out at a discounted price. Hours of play with non issues for about 10 months. Channel 3&4 went out. Once again my vendor came through. Sent me another 1200.4-2ohm Evox next day. It came in DOA. After all that headache. They sent me another one that been in my bike with zero issues. Now if my current amp fails, I would more than likely purchase the Evops version.
