I liked that Kyle identified poison ivy at Grandpa's when he helped him with the tree by the Christmas coop.
a life saving tip...when you have an outbreak of poison ivy (oak or sumac) rub the inside goopy part of banana peel over the outbreak and that will dry up the itchy poison bumps ...the more often you use it, the better it works...eventually you build somewhat of a resistance to future outbreaks of poison outbreaks! You can also freeze the peels and even tho they turn brown, when thawed will still work on the poison outbreaks!
Seriously!? I’ve never heard of that but if it works, I would absolutely do it!!
@@KSGetOut I think I forgot to say to rub a fresh piece of peel on the outbreak each time it itches...you can freeze the peels, then let thaw and use when needed...the peels will turn brown but still work just as well...I've had a bunch of strokes so I am VERY forgetful, sometimes.
Hercules is my youngest cat's name. He was so tiny and brave when I first saw him on my porch looking for food. He was too small to be on his own and I bottle fed him for a couple of weeks. He's now a big boy cat and watches over the other 3 old cats and me! Herc is a good name for a hero!
Build a pole barn, with full bathroom, and put camper in it👍

When you bring your lgd home,. Walk him around the perimeter of the property a couple of times a day. That teaches him his boundiaries. Obviously some command training. We raised Great Pyrenees for 10 years and we started out working with the puppies. New family always had a head start and appreciated well behaved dogs! I do not think you need to lock him in a pen!!!!!!!
LGD dogs are not meant to be in a pen! They're meant to be out with their animals.

@Pamela Crowell: did you have them around chickens and ducks? I know of a few LGD's who chased and killed chickens until they reached around 2 yrs old.

If you want to talk about a spoiled dog…. My granddaughter and her husband have a mini labradoodle that is so adorable and completely spoiled. The husband took the day off work on her (the dog’s) birthday because nobody should be alone on their birthday. Every dog should be loved that much.

Might look into seeing how much it would be for a grader to make a couple passes on your driveway. Although I suppose if you're going to rock your driveway and all then might plan on doing it the same day and get him to spread the rock and slope it correct.

Love the name! We have a white GSD named Maya - after the lead sled dog on Eight Below. Our grandson was given the responsibility of naming her. I think he chose well. You have chosen well too.

** While it's still summer.** Check into getting a large tarp style car port . To cover your trailer. It something you can use to block the cold northern wind from your front door and assist in holding in the heat . And of course it will help keep the trailer cooler in the summer.

You are so right! From an old military K9 handler, consistency is absolutely where it’s at. I trained our family dog with positive reinforcement to verbal & hand signals. She was so sweet and wonderful, like your sweet Princess! Miss her!!One of our adult boys taught his dog commands in four different languages.

Well he looks so much like Smokey, Chads Dog so I’m gunna guess his name is “Ash” Smokey and Ash . It just sounds right. Shannon, it looks to me that you got a haircut, a bob,,, it’s adorable and it makes you look more grown up. Soo cute, plus you can still pull it up out of the way with this heat. . I LOVE BURNT chicken 🍗 I’ll eat it ‼️ hahahah You could cut particle board to fit for skirting on the RV, and paint it, and don’t forget to put heat tape on your pipes
So they don’t freeze and clear plastic on the outside and inside of the windows during the winter, it helps to insulate so much. For your green house, call some of the builders/companies and see if they’ll hook you up because you have FB and TH-cam channels and can promote it with your followers. Talk to Jason from Cog Hill, or Daniel from Arms family because they both got their green house, for free or with a huge discount.
