So happy Crumb will be on a minicard! Hopefully he can still be VC66 but with a “Return” logo instead of “Revenge.” Would mean a lot! Stoked to see 8D8 on a card, too! Killer set!

My kids want the Throne Room for the Book of Boba Gett, but I want this piece for ROTJ. Thank you Hasbro for another great piece of history for the TVC. I will be getting both, so I pre-ordered the Throne Room, and I will do the same for this Jabba toy with accessories.

This Jabba play set instantly vaults to #1 on my all-time favorite TVC figures. It looks absolutely amazing! Fall of 2024 is a long wait, so the next 18-months is gonna be slow, but blissful torture.

@@isaiahvilla6691 Of course it's compatible, the throne is a repaint of the one that comes with the throne room playset. Now if they would use the money they saved to give 8D8 elbow and knee articulation, that would be really clever!

It turned out pretty good, but I expected Jabba to be a better version, similar to the Walmart version only better. Unfortunately they just repainted the same mold as the Rancor Pit Black Series and the Sail Barge
Great update of the vintage set! Now kindly release a more affordable Jabba's throne room 'upgrade pack' for us OG'ers without fat Bib and the 700 pieces of silverware...At the current inflated price point I'm not touching the throne room.

This smaller 3 3/4 Jabba set is more complete than the larger 6" Scale Jabba for the same price revealed earlier this year. Looks good.

Can't wait for the Jabba to arrive. I made my own bespoke throne room from foamex and foam instead though, which uses Hasbro's Mandalorian Bar as a backdrop

(Plus, make a new high-collared Hoth jacket for the male physique that you can also use for future Hoth Rebels, and you can mould it in orange, slap it on a TVC Greedo, and you've got Beedo!)

This is very cool, but just how articulated is that 8D8? I looks like a Basic 5 POA in all the shots I've seen so far. Meanwhile, the Droid Factory BG-J38 Build-A-Figure (which is basically just 8D8 with a different head and paint scheme) also had swivel-hinge elbows, hinged knees, and swivel-hinge ankles.
I'm hoping this is just a prototype, and therefore "subject to change," but I'd rather have a very poseable droid whose limbs are slightly thicker than would be strictly accurate, than a perfect-scale representation that doesn't do much.
Looking forward to slave Leia 😂.

Now we're talking, take my money Hasbro! I wish this news came earlier as this would have avoided some negativity from frustrated fans. I like 8D8 on a "finish the 96" card. Also I like Salacious Crumb not being identical to VC66 (he could have a specific new numbering and image on the card). Now, ONE SUGGESTION, how about completing the Jabba's palace diorama with aTHIRD piece (that could include EV-9D9 for example), in the form of A TOWER with stairs and entrance (similar to what Lego did in their item REF 75326) ? That would be wonderful, massive, definitive and beautiful ;) Thanks! Love from France.

I think Jabba's head is a little narrow, the pillows are a little flat and generic, the dias, hooka tho look good.
Howzabout a reissue of the already made and tooled Sail Barge? Could even just put it in a differently designed box if you want to preserve the collectability of the original release.

I hope Salacious is "Return of the Jedi" logo and not Revenge. I have the Revenge carded figure and a reissued figure would destroy the value of the original. But, I am very glad that people who don't have Salacious on a card can get him.

Kudos for the two carded figures but the new dias should have been painted the same color as the throne room playset. The colors don't match and that's really disappointing when building a throne room diorama.

Original 96 figure with stone age articulation behind a $90 paywall isn't what i would call a job well done.

Awesome looking Hutt set, it would of been a lot cooler if Hasbro would have ignored the very small group of mentally ill individuals and gave us Oola. Glad I bought the Shadows of the Darkside version back in 2010.
