- Park Model Homes is showcasing an outstanding Park Model that is only allowed in Canada and NOT the U.S. The reason why I am posting this is to show all the new amazing features and details we are able to offer for our U.S. product lines. In Canada they are allowed to go up to 538 sq.ft. and we are restricted to 399 sq. ft. They are allowed to be bigger however cannot offer an upstairs loft. If you're in Canada and would like more info on models that are available to you, we would be more than happy to get you in touch with trusted Kropf Park Model Dealers. Am retiring next year but the thought of retirement gives me weakness. My apologies to everyone who have retired and filing social security during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you never imagined to happen. It's so difficult for people who are retired and have no savings or loved ones to fall back on
Retirement is more challenging now than it used to be. I've focused on saving rather than investing, and currently, I have about $400K. With inflation on the rise, I'm considering investing in stocks, but I'm not familiar with effective market strategies.
25k a week? Amazing! how did you get started?
Honestly I really need help learning to trade. Seeing my portfolio low makes me very sad.
Hmm!! Who is Patricia , if you dont mind me asking?
It's great to see others who also benefits from the service of Patricia Strain
Just stunning! Best tiny I've seen so far. Next step is to get municipalities on board so people can park them legally and live. The tiny home movement is growing! 😊
Many small towns are starting this- but needs a wealthy developer to do so- thankfully live close to one that is popping up in next couple of years
Illegal for year round living in NB, Canada
@@Canada4evermorecheck out 12 neighbours in Fredericton. They are also permitted in backyards as in-law suites.
I need this for my son. He could feel a bit more independent, but still be nearby and safe and cared for.
Same here. It will allow my son the be independent and save up some money but also be close.
Wish my parents were like you guys, instead of letting me live out of a car when I was young
On your land. No one wants to stake out a piece of land for these. Trailer parks are going away, and these are no different than that. The entire 'tiny home' craze is nothing more than a re-hash of a good idea that is presently failing.
@@mikeyjames Just make a heated pad with plumbing and a well insulated garage cheaper to build. Add what ever you want inside, and it may not be taxed as a home, (maybe). Plenty of people do it, then build a home later on.
Need to develop tower in cities as well in country to park those tiny without scraping land. Densification is the key. If you put hydraulic pilotis that you put on ciment block over parking in front of house where there is more snow it is easier than shelve all know to back of the house. So we can put snow/sun curtain al around that protect vehicule under from snow
Wow! I didn’t realize a mobile home could look so finished and refined. The kitchen is bigger than the one in my house!
There is a huge housing issue in Canada and Canadians are pissed off!!! I just wanna tell you don't get greedy with your prices and you'll do really well up here... Canadians are sick of being ripped off so just be careful and you'll be very successful!!!!
A home is not a rip off its an investment. You earn this from your salary in a well paying job. Go to school and pay attention and save your money. It's always some else's fault that people don't manage their affairs properly.
If you are free, then what comes is a result of your decisions.
@@henrivanbemmel tell me you know nothing about Canadian housing issues without telling me you know nothing.
@@jamesnapper2876 I don't know, I lived here for 63 years and built two homes. Anyhow, it's good that I know nothing, then I can only learn from there.
@@henrivanbemmelHave you been here as of late under the regime of Turdeau and what he's done to this country? It's not the country you once knew.

This is stunning! Thanks for showing a Canadian park model for us Canadian viewers. We can't have lofts in our park models (height restrictions), but this beauty makes up for it!
I was thinking about you guys for this one :) We love our neighbors up north!
Is this 4 season? I might have missed that in video.
@@Bailey463 has to be in Canada lol
Those appliances are stunning! I love the sleek black & gold, looks amazing! Beautiful home!
Go live in a trailer park. You would have more actual liveable room, but then you would be evicted in about 5 years. Tiny homes are EXACTLY LIKE A TRAILER IN THIS ASPECT., and you need a place to park it.
The kitchen is very impressive. The design looks excellent. I'd love one. ❤
I love that you don't walk in from the outside into the kitchen, and that there is a wall that separates the living room from the kitchen.
I am in Canada... This is a very nice Tiny home... Some feedback here... I would prefer a tub, not just a shower, and two sinks in the bathroom are excessive, I would rather have one, plus more counterspace. The kitchen looks truly amazing with wonderful looking appliances. I have never seen that kind before. I would also rather have a Queen size bed with more space in the bedroom. It is a good design overall though.
People moving into tiny homes generally don't get to beg unless they build their own,. and these still need a park.....LIKE A TRAILER PARK. With trailer parks being bought up and the people being evicted en masse, where do you think you're going to plant this thing? I'm with you, but lets be realistic.
@@JohnBaker-vm1wf jst pick it up and drive it to a buddies piece of land and tell em im moving in
I'm sure you could get those small adjustments if you purchased the home
@@OceanFrontVilla3 Yes, I just wanted to give feedback. I am pretty happy in my 2010 sq. ft. three story townhouse. I could use more space, actually.
I thought washer and dryer unit would be more beneficial
I'll take it, please send to Alberta, Canada. I'll meet ya where I want it. Bring a offroad tow rig too.
We live in BC Canada. There’s property rules that the government has, they have put people in jeopardy of losing their property if the have a tiny house on acreage. They greedy here and want to suck every penny out of people. It’s a lovely tiny home. ❤❤❤
What’s going on?
I can't imagine opening the wall up in Canada with the mosquitoes, black flies, no-see-ums, horse flies and moose flies, to name a few. It should have a pull out screen.
Agree 100%, requires a screen.
Somehow I feel like, whereas all those windows are lovely they may be a bit much in winter.
I mean, it is definitely a cute set up, depending on what part of Canada you live could be a bit chilly in winters...
♥️🇨🇦
Throw in some ticks deer flies and rabbid bats for good measure
It's for those 2 days in spring when it's warm(ish) outside but the bugs haven't come out yet. The other 363 days they're just closed.
Love this design! I hope a Builder in the US sees this and makes these for us.
We can do a similar layout and design. We just can't build them that large.
@@PARKMODELHOMESNATIONWIDECan I get this done in Modular?
Absoulety amazing! Great to know that similar features are available in the U.S models! Great Job Joey!
Glad you think so!
Zero mention of pricing. Gonna bet this is nowhere near affordable.
Guessing $250k
You must not be Canadian. Nothing is affordable here.
@@ApriliaRacer14 A small apartment costs more than half a million in Canada.
in toronto you can get a shed for 1.4m
@airborne63 depends where you are. I'm in Edmonton and my house is worth probably $420k now (bought for $380k in 2016). 1800sq/ft plus a good sized lot. Built in the 70's. Just get out of Toronto or Vancouver and there are still affordable places in the country.
Nice to look at ,but will it stand up to our winters or will we freeze to death . Would have been nice to see a vid of how well it is insulated and windows and doors properly sealed . heating and floor insulation , besides that a beautiful little home .
Woodland Park has videos on their quality and the process of building; on TH-cam. They’re a quality park model, with high ceiling, lots of windows, very nice too.
The ones we have are good to -40c here in🇨🇦
Just read the spec's.
@@pjk1714 does your have a sliding door like the one used in the video to get to the interior. They are usual drafty.
Please send a link to the specs
I put 3 layer panels of bubble wrap on my patio doors and all windows for a cdn winter, i tape the measured marked panels together on the edges, then i tape them to the windows. each panel is marked in a corner for each window. I leave a 2 or 3 inch gap between the bottom and top panels on the door/windows so I can see outside. its very effective for preventing cold air floating into the room! apply rolled/folded thick towels at the bottom of windows/doors; cut tea towels into 2 inch long strips and stuff into gaps around windows prevents drafts, very effective.
This is sooo classy! I love it, if it just had a small loft we could use for extra bedroom for when kids or grandkids visit I would be thrilled to live in this house forever!!!!
I saw a tiny home company on Ile d'Orleans - near Quebec City that is producing similar homes. Very nice video. Indoor looks really great.
In Alberta, we are building a 8 foot x 20 foot tiny house on a dual axil flatdeck trailer. We have a queen sized bed in the loft with windows for cross ventilation. 5 triple pane windows in total plus the insulated full sized door. Every day people stop by for a tour. Last Wednesday my wife said 7 people came by...4 the next...3 the next. Start building:)
Amazing tiny home. I would have preferred the kitchen cabinets at the same level on the top so it has a clean and modern line. Overall really great design!
This is very spacious inside, very nice!!!❤❤❤
Make this affordable and Canadians will support you . $100 grand or less! Then i can purchase my dream acre of land for another $100 grand and have a nice homestead for $200g all in ! I live in my van currently . Rent is too high in BC
you can get a much larger mobile home in canada for 100 grand....
@@jessielees Maybe if it's used and needs a bunch of work. New mobile units start at 200k.
Rent is too high in Ontario.
Problem is the province and towns are making it difficult to live in them full time ….I really want to challenge their assume authority…. Last time I did in court …. They had none…. It was great !
Absolutely stunning
As someone who recently built a new home in one of the colder areas of Canada I can say with surety that that HUGE sliding glass wall is not going to help with heating costs. At -30 and lower that thing will only make one person happy, the propane delivery guy. Without a foundation the winter cold will completely envelop this beautiful tiny home and turn it into a fridge unless there's a big tank of propane outside to feed that furnace. To be built for my climate requires 8 in walls and triple glazed windows, or a fat wallet to keep warm. Its not like you could put the 4000 lb mass heater I have into that either. Fact is you can't wood heat those at all. For the most part you can forget about situating one of these (as nice as this one is) on anything urban. It won't meet zoning.
It won't meet zoning where we are either and we're rural, but there are still inspectors and the building code still exists.
It is for certain a REAL beauty though, no question, except for how much? Why do these videos always leave out the most important part? Probably because the interest would wane quickly when the budget is revealed.
Amazing wow after seeing soon many tiny homes this layout is so cool
Love it! I like the segregated areas and size of those.
This is so nice. It's so practical, clean
this is the smartest layout ive ever seen Bravo
Wow, that’s really beautiful
I really love this! ❤❤❤
Good luck with That !! it's LAND that costs !!! Houses are basically FREE by comparison.
Florida allows park model homes up to 500 square feet-so could this model be sold in the US for use in that state only? I hope in the future other states allow for bigger park models too. This thing is stunning!
These are great but hardly anyone will let you park it anywhere. We need mobile home parks that cater to these homes or they are useless. I had a park model and had to leave as the landowner decided to kick us all out to build condos and there was nowhere I could move the park model so was forced to sell it.
What a nice little house and yes I bet it would be great
Every Canadians' dream is to live in a trailer park. . .
Are there even enough parks across the country to even make a difference in housing? In my area, people who have these use it 3 months of the year, then the parks close down. It's a luxury item
@@archie15900 would have though you'd be more concerned with the sliding door (unless that's what you mean by all the windows). Those sliding doors don't seal that well and usually let in a 'good breeze' around all 4 sides.
Regards from Nova Scotia.
Nice bathroom! Wish I thought of the shower design
Totally, man. Anyone else think Finch's game strategies make 4ra bets smarter? Feels like insider info!
I just joined 4ra’s fantasy league after seeing the new ad. so pumped! it’s going to be a blast playing along with the IPL matches. who else is in?
Great job!
Beautiful 👍
Thanks! Glad you like the design.
4ra’s latest promo has made cricket betting so thrilling! who else is loving this?
The kitchen is beautiful.
Nice Looking. Not to sure why we need even smaller Mobile homes, Plenty of room in Canada to put down pads and make them a decent size.
It can be sold here in the US. Tiny homes don't have to be 399 sqft. It's just that in some states, if not all, if they're more than 399 sqft, you have to pay property tax. If its 399sqft or less, you dont have to pay property tax.
These are not allowed in the U.S under ANSI certification only in Canada. If you have questions about this please call us at 888-222-2699
thats what i was thinking as well

Park Models have to be under 399 sq ft to be considered an RV. If you exceed that square footage then it will be considered as a HUD home. Which is a totally different ball game.
The 399 sq ft is the measurement of the tiny home EXCLUDING the lofts. If your tiny home is 10 x 36 and you have 2 upstairs lofts of 100 sq ft each...the size of your tiny home is 360 sq ft. 360 sq ft is the amount of land that home requires and what property taxes are based on. I live in Northern California and don't know what Canada's laws say.
Every time i see the new 4ra promo, i feel like i need to place another bet! it’s just so enticing, can’t resist trying my luck again and again.
It''s gorgeous~
The betting tips on 4ra are top-notch. it’s like having expert advice.
Only 1 problem!
Nowhere to park them!
I do not know of anywhere in Canada that will allow tiny homes to be permitted as residential. You would not pass current building codes to meet occupational standards for a full time residence. It would need to always be portable and anchored down to proper permitted slab anchor points. It would require the right designation of property. ( recreational not residential) It would still require septic system and well with also a power shed with mast for meter base. All permitted unless you buying into a strata shared tailor park with its own amenity's. Very few places exist that don't require cutting a ton of red tape. Its a shame.
Yes, but things can change. The size restrictions were to prevent 'shacks' etc. Sewage is going be a problem and tiny home manufacturers might consider offering options up front.
Houses is most subdivisions are far too big. It wastes materials and makes them more expensive. IMHO this is designed to keep poorer people out of subdivisions. Right or wrong these lower income properties are seen by some as a factor that can lower resale value. Guess we'll see how this goes, but there is resistance here. Perhaps having a small community thar is exclusively for tiny homes might be an easier sell.
Just like I'd like to see a subdivision of passive homes that are not connected to the grid at all for power, water or sewage and manage on their own. If it worked it'd save a lot on infrastructure.
Sorry for my ignorant n00b question - but can't you pay to have it attached onto a foundation?
@@manofsan It would require a concrete slab with proper anchor points. You would not ever get occupancy permit if you just removed the wheels and placed it on a full foundation. It would need to meet all current building codes and have been inspected and approved. Walls need to be of a certain insulation R-value, same as roof. These buildings shown are maybe built to mobile road worthy standards not home occupancy. There is too many more issues to address then I care to type out. It would be comparable to trying to put a full foundation under a motorhome. In theory it would work, but would not be allowed under current building laws. The best we can hope for is that things change on a government level. I think small homes are a wonderful idea and possibly a solution to current lack of housing.
@@IR1Fool - there's no reason in principle why a factory-built prefab home can't be built to the same standards as a traditional foundation-built home. As a matter of fact they can be built better under factory conditions. Once it meets standards, then why can't it be attached to foundation and gain the same legal status as a traditionally-built home?
@@manofsan A factory built pre fab home is much different then a tiny home built on trailer. Factory built homes can be built to meet standards. But what is being shown is not built to current standards. Most regional districts are not regulated to except alternate building styles. Even if what you propose to build makes practical sense. I have witnessed the destruction of perfectly reasonable built structures because of tyrannical code enforcement. I guess my best advice to anyone is to really look into what all is involved to appease the regulators of what ever region you buy property to place one of these homes on. Just because you can afford to buy a chunk of property and one of these homes. Does not mean you will be automatically be allowed to live full time in it. If you are willing to live far from any towns and can find a district that does not have building codes then you can build whatever you think is practical.
Very nice !
these homes are great but the homes are not the problem its the land.
Code in Canada is microwave has to be 30 inches above a gas cook top. That does not look like 30 inches. Looks like 24 which is for electric range.
This is beautiful
All those windows in a Canadian winter...... Here's your sign !!! Never says how well it's insulated !!

Lovely. Well thought out.
At my age, I would love to live in a small home like this. It is just big enough for me. I live in Maryland with my daughters who have lots of land and large homes. Wonder how this would work here. Try living in that when it's -20/-40 for 90 days in the north. You can't just skirt it, (the skirting is vented) your furnace will run 24 4 7 for six months of the year and the windows will be covered in ice. You would need a 3ft solid concrete wall and pad to set it on. If your water cooler or toilet ever drains on the floor, and it runs down a heating duck, your insulation will be a breading ground for mold. A microwave /fan above a stove will be full of cooking oil and cannot be cleaned out. Many people that fry with a wok have started kitchen fires. Great for miles south of the border.
Now I like this one. Clean 😅😅😅😅
Wow this is a great little home
i could live there and be happy.

HOW MUCH IS IT???
Love the design..looks like premium quality as well. What's the ballpark on the price?
Beautiful home
Absolutely love the layout. But many many place in Canada wont allow this type of "house". Until they change the law's, which will never happen because city need to make more money with permanent building in taxes. We will not see much of these unit. I wish i can buy one and use it legally where i am located.
Municipalities need to allow these on residential lots. 2 or 3 of these on one lot instead of huge 3 to 4 story houses costing millions of $
Very cool 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Love this!
Canadian, Ontario haven’t heard the price yet but hoping not more than 80,000.00 and that’s very high price , hoping I’m surprised and it’s a lot lower than I guessed . First off we have to pay our current city many hidden costs that aren’t mentioned
and my friends payed roughly 32 thousand for licenses, land transfer tax , which is a rip from
Government, then utilities lines , water lines , larger hydro
board / electric bank, septic tanks if on rural roads or un organized townships. Forget about other things mentioned or might listed all of them . If on subdivision land / Family house and
The lot is big enough to put it on, still 32 though in fees , utilities, lines extends and electrical board , so I’d only have budget that’s strengthening it if max 68 thousand for tiny house shown which is perfect.
