#relatable dude! when I was 10 or 11 I thought I liked boys until I was 12....i started liking my friend and girls in particular and I'm like am I crazy or do I actually like girls? so on the bus since me and my friend (a girl) sit together I figured I should try holding hands with her to see if I had feelings for her, I carefully inched my hand closer to hers and once my hand was on hers I felt butterflies in my stomach, and I NEVER felt that way with a boy and right from there ever since I knew I was lesbian, of course I tryd covering it up at school telling my friends I like this boy then kept switching and switching until one day my friends wanted to know why, so one day I finally had the courage to tell them that I was lesbian, and my friends said that they been knew that already from me skipping to basically every boy in the school. And they could also tell by the way I look at the girls, I can't describe it in my perspective but, if I could I would definitely tell you guys, also make sure to like and subscribe to my channel, I know I haven't posted in so long but, don't judge I had school! Can't film in school.

same, but i only have a very small attraction to women. i think i watch so many because it genuinely fascinates me, as it is somewhat removed from my experience.
I had my first crush on a girl when I was 14. It scared me so I 'decided' it wasn't a crush and brushed it off (continued to have feelings though). Flash forward two years later, I'm at a sleepover with 9 other girls and we play the game 'too hot' and I get very excited at the thought that I might get to kiss a girl, specifically, my friend that I was crushing on. At this point I'm still in denial and thinking I'm totally straight 😂 a year later, same group of friends, same place, and we play strip poker. And the same girl who I am still crushing on is the first to lose all her clothes. How I didn't figure it out at that exact moment is beyond me 😂
we laugh at how 'dumb' and naive we seemed to not notice all these obvious signs, but the reason is because we are completely surrounded by heteronormativity, and not just that, we are indoctrinated, and homophobia is still rampant. even though it's funny it's sad at the same time because it takes us so much longer.

I can RELATE like soo much, same thing happened to me last year except it was a classmate of mine, but I tried ignoring it, but I couldn't help thinking about how I had feelings for a girl and thought maybe its something else, but now this year im startig to realize a lot that im lesbian and i dont wanna be because im scared of people, so being lesbian is my biggest secret until now and no one knows except for the people who read this.

My friend would strip for me to the spice girls back in the day lol. I would pretend I was the guy in the audience rooting for her. It got serious when I said yeah take it off. I was 12 we went to her bed. I should've known then but it just felt right.
I had my first girl crush when I was 12 or 13 and I’m 13 rn tho lol😂
Random memory: There was this kid who was making fun of a bisexual kid and it bothered me so much because I’m pansexual. So he said “Being bisexual is disgusting” so then I yelled at him “Well I guess I’m disgusting!” He stoped making fun of the other kid and started questioning me “Who do you like?” So I replied “No one.” Then he said “How can you be bi and not like someone?” So this girl who I have a crush on now said “Will you leave her alone? She doesn’t have to answer your questions.” I barley knew her at the time but then we started talking and eating lunch together and now we’re really close friends.
So that’s pretty much how I outed myself in a very religious state :)

I remember making a lesbian couple and they also had a baby on Sims 2 (on PC) and I told myself I was supporting gay people but deep down I was enjoying playing with my lesbian family.

In 8th grade I had a sexual fantasy about my best friend that freaked me out so bad that I repressed the shit out of my sexuality for years. I identified as bisexual when I was 19 and coming to terms with liking girls but recently realized I am just gay. Another huge obvious clue was I had the biggest crush on this girl next door when I was like 9 or 10. I would get so flustered around her and would want to do everything she did and wanted to be like her. Be near her. She had the prettiest brown eyes and dimples. Aughhh. Of course, my stupid self did not realize this was a crush. I got so tongue tied around her and always cared about what she thought of me. And then in 5th grade, I saw this girl with beautiful red hair and developed an instant crush on her. I also watched Shakira's She Wolf MV over and over again so.....Yeah. It was really obvious. Especially since I rarely had crushes on boys and wondered if there was something wrong with me. So to combat this, I would start picking out boys that were conventionally attractive and declare I had a crush on them. Or also thinking I had crushes on guys just because they made me laugh.

Kinda like some gay people who would think to themselves that they might be bisexual at first then so felt more comfortable identifying themselves as bisexual instead of gay. Seems like labeling yourself as bisexual is sort of like a stepping stone for them.

I didn’t know I was gay either. I also identified as asexual for 2 years before realizing I was sexually attracted to women and nb people. (I use the labels gay and queer because bisexuality is seen as liking men, which I don’t, and because I’m nb ). Pretty sure I’m still on the ace spectrum, so when you said demisexual I related with you so much.

I always wished I would be bi, cause I didn't thought I might be, I didn't even thought there would be slightly a chance for me to be bi 😂😂 but then I found it out step by step like "oh yeah, she's the one book character I would bang" and later stuff like "that girl is so beautiful I wanna hug her" an Then I FINALLY realised it 😂😂

There were so many times when i should have realized i was bi. I remember having a crush on my female bff in ms but i never thought anything of it. Later on freshman year i had the hugest crush on a girl,,,, and thats when i started to understand that im bisexual (attracted to girls more tho) :-)

I don’t know why but I started crying when I saw your channel and then I started crying when I was watching this video. 😭 I relate so much to you. I am 11 and I look back and I realize...”god.. I was so gay in preschool. (I say gay as in the homo umbrella term) and I realize. I HAD CRUSHES ON SO MANY GIRLS LIKE WTF. I currently identify as pansexual. I am out to 3 out of 4 of my sibling so far and only 2 of them really accepted me. My brother was the one I got really emotional with and we cried and hugged. He is bi and I’ve always kind of known but it’s never really come up until about.. 2 months ago when I came out. I came out almost immediately to him. He was the 3rd person to know. He was so accepting and so loving and it was so nice and just AH. When I was actually 4-5 I was bi. I had a “bf” but I had this heart pounding crush on this one girl and i thought i was just weird and just confused. when I was 6-7 I was definitely asexual. Bc “boys had cooties” and I “couldn’t like girls” and then when I was 8 we were sitting in a car and I asked my mom if her friend (let’s call him Josh) josh was her friend (let’s call him Richard) Richards brother. (They we’re always together) and she said “no baby. They aren’t” and I said “then what are they” and she said “well. They love each other.” And that’s how I found out that men can marry men and women can marry women and when I was about 10 and a half I started questioning who I liked. And then on April 1st at around 11:37 pm I was lying in bed trying to go to sleep and I realized I had a crush on my girl neighbor. And then there were little things that led up to these but yeah :) that’s how I knew :)

I knew I was bisexual when I was 17 and I had a looooot of hints growing up that I missed. When I was 8 or 9 (?), my best friend at the time kissed me on the cheek for no ACTUAL reason and I...it's hard to explain, but I was super flattered, I didn't feel like it was gross or wrong at all. And then, when I was in middle school, I had a friend who identified as lesbian and uh...we had some...interesting conversations and on top of that, I thought she was really pretty. And then in high school, I got more into anime and I was really into some of the anime girls and like, you know how they have some of the really sexy drawings of characters? If I saw one, I would just stare at it and I didn't know why. Jesus, I feel like this is a confessional. So yeah, I'm with you. I only realized it when my ex-boyfriend (who is bisexual) explained to me how he felt about it, that it was like sometimes you like one more than the other and it just blew my mind. Like, up until that point, I didn't realize that. So yeah.

I kissed a girl in year 2 and in year 7 I realized I was different, we had a inrichment day where I came out to my friend Beth that I was bi she said she was to. So in the end I was fallen in love with her I asked her out and we were together for almost 5 months then she told me she didn't wanna make me up set it turned out she was strait that was my first heart break

The first time I knew was in Kindergarten. There was a girl named Kelsey who was my friend. I would wait every day after school in the backpack cubby for her to give me a hug and I was always super nervous, but only when she hugged me. She would hold my hand during reading time on the rug, and I felt like we were a couple. I told her I loved her over the phone and when she said “Aww I love you too!” I knew I had been friend-zoned.

I can very much relate to this. I'm almost 37. For years I identified as straight, but deep down (and for a long time) I knew I felt differently for girls/women. I have so far only dated men, but these days i identify as bi because I do get romantic feelings for women. I'm yet to get a gf and even kiss a woman though. I'm currently single (I'm a mum too) and working on myself but one day when I'm ready to get out there if (or when) I meet someone who is great for me and respects me and my kids and everything I want in a lovimg relationship, if that person is female I'm 110% OK with that. I've only told a few close friends and my kids I'm bi and they're supportive. I do have feelings for someone (a woman) but unfortunately (for me) she's married (to a guy) :(

I think that people coming out is so brave people go through so much effort to do it and what hurts me is when people bully others for being the way they are . We were put on this earth to love each other , for people saying it’s wrong because it says in the bible it’s wrong . Well god said love thy neighbor he never said the sex they had to be . Hey i have a gay friend and she's the best thing that happened in my life! We've been friends for almost 10 years now and she only recently told me she's gay, that she lost some 'friends' over that. Who says girls and gays cant be friends? We're BFFs and our rlshp is absolutely platonic, so its a MYTH that a gay girl will fall for a girl whom she's v close to! So dont break your friendship up if your friend tells u the same, she must have trusted u enough with this secret, just support her, she's always been like this!

for me i was kinda confused because i THOUGHT i liked boys when i was really young but that interest went away when i turned about 13-14 i was completely into girls and i didn’t like men AT ALL. i think i just liked the idea of being WITH someone/ also enforced internalized homophobia.
I didn’t really like girly things when I was younger (still don’t) I would cry if my mom tried to put a dress on me. I didn’t like makeup at all. I always wanted to be a boy. A few weeks ago, I fell in love with a girl, and at that moment I lost feelings for my crush. I had a crush on him for 3 years! 3 freaking years of thinking of him every night, when I knew he didn’t like me back. I am so glad I moved on now. My older sister wasn’t suprised when I told her I was bi. My friends even smiled and clapped for me :)

I'm like extremely confused, because I do have celebrity crushes on men, but at the same time I don't really have any crushes on boys around me. And when I think about being in a relationship with guys it's kinda weird. I didn't know I was gay. Until I met my first gay friend. And then the rest of my friends. I ended up having more gay friends than straight, and they basically opened the *closet* for me (haha get it) and then a sudden thought came to mind "oh shit. What is this? Gay? ...wait a second...IM GAY." It took me to be surrounded by other homosexuals to realise as i grew up in a tottaly straight comminity and im so happy i met these gay people who are my best friends today.

I'm Bi, and this is how I figured it out: there was this girl who was the president of the hip hop club I was in, and she was super talented and nice and funny and gorgeous, and I could not get her out of my head and I was wondering why and all of a sudden it hit me that I had a huge crush on her and I was like, "Wow, that explains so much." (There were so many signs it's wild that I didn't see any of them)
I realized I liked girls really early on when I was 11-12 and just had a huge crush on my best friend and at first I said I was bisexual for like 2 years and only recently I've come to terms with that I'm lesbian but have the occasional crush on a trans guy ( I mean 1 out of my 4 crushes). I showed really obvious signs before like wishing I was a guy since I didn't know what the LGBT community was until I did research about the fact I liked my best friend and thought that only guys could like girls and girls like guys.

i did the exact same thing with cutting out pictures from magazines and being totally obsessed, but with bridget mendler. and yet i still had no idea i was gay.
also my favorite thing that ive seen a lot of people have done too, i googled 'am i gay quizzes' and took them constantly. i finally realized i like girls and i came out as bi when i was 12/13. and now after another whole year ive realized im just gay : )

I'm really confused about that cause I'm not straight but I'm not gay this may also be because I am 14 years old and still discovering myself but all my friends are asking and I don't know what to do some people say I am lesbian then others say I'm asexual and that just makes me even more confused about it all. I would want to test the waters with relationships but I am to scared to do so because some of my family aren't so excepting of LGBQ+ relationships.

Life is HELLA strange Don't worry, you're still young and figuring things out. I'm trans (female to male) and when I was 14 I knew I liked girls, but I brushed those feelings away and said I was asexual. It wasn't until I started accepting myself as transgender and as male that I began being more open to myself and with my sexuality. I'm just saying you will eventually know who you are, and don't let anyone pressure you into thinking you have to fit into a certain category. My family isn't very excepting of LGBT people either.

Don't stress on it! xoxo Don't let one crush determine your sexuality, it might take time to figure yourself out and that's okay. For example, I once dated a boy but now I'm with a girl and that doesn't make me bisexual and doesn't make me not lesbian. Does that make sense?

I remember when I was 8 there was a girl at my school that was two years older and I really liked watching her and I found her so pretty (yes I was a creepy stalker 😅) but I thought that every other girl did the same thing, that every girl had an older girl that they admired, that it was a type of relationship that I didn't know the name

for like the last 5 years all my social media was someone or something related to the LGBTQ+ community , specifially lesbian/gay, and also the movies/tv shows that I watched but I didnt think much of it until recently. And my people were Alex Vause, Adrianna from 90291, and mainly Lauren Jauregui.
Yeah before I came out I was following a handful of lgbt people without knowing that i was in that community too. awww
When I was 14 I had such a hard time admitting to myself that I liked girls, I mean guys were ok I liked them too but I was more attracted to girls, I am still scared that some members of my family would disown me if I end up with a girl for a life partner or wife. So congrats to you! I finally started to think about my sexuality after my bff and I experimented ALOT! Then my friend asked me to be her girlfriend I repressed everything, anyways basically I ended up in the hospital from a purposeful overdose and in a mental hospital before I would even admit it to myself!

I remember being your age and I didn't know that I was gay, but I found those kinds of questions so frustrating because I didn't like any guys and didn't know how to respond. Don't stress though, you will figure it out in time. It took me years to figure out my sexuality and that's okay! Take your time, sit back and enjoy finding yourself 💛

In 7th grade we went to a lake and slept in cabins for a weekend. My cabin got talked too because all the other girls wouldn't stop talking all night long. After that some of the other girls got into a fight with me because I was the only person really being quiet. This really cute girl (I didn't know at the time) defended me and I don't remember what exactly I thought but I was super happy that this one girl was defending me. Then on the ride back home this girl who I was definitely crushing on fell asleep on my shoulder and I remember thinking "holy shit don't you fucking move rose" to myself

Aw I’m really sorry to hear about your family not understanding 💛 it’s tough, it might be safer for you not to tell them for a while. Only come out if you feel safe. Find some other adults you can talk to about how you feel, whether that be a family member like an aunt or a school councillor or teacher.

I realised I was gay earlier this year but I've only recently realised my very first gay moment which believe it or not was when I was 4 and I was fucking obsessed with my mom's best friends daughter who was like 16 and I would literally dream about her up until I was around 7 and found a new much older girl to obsess over.

I think I'm on the aroace spectrum, but in like 8th grade I was really close to one girl. Bear in mind I'm a really touchy-feely affectionate person. Anyway, I hugged her a lot and held her hand and things like that, and one time after gym class one girl came up to me and was like "Hey why do you keep doing that, we girls [ in the class ] think you might be a lesbian" in that Tone™. And I was like um, NO and never touched one of my friends for the remainder of the year and made a point to talk more about boys (who I didn't even like at all). I don't think I have recovered from this yet lol
