LIttle Dragon is phenomenal, they keep getting better and better. The Lover Chanting EP is unreal and also their 2020 album, New Me, Same Us. Also Phantogram is among the best of the best as far as indie artists go. The lead singer Sarah is a monster.

Have you ever listened to Feist? Leslie Feist is the singer's name. She is by far my favorite indie artist female singer. Her voice is so unique and her songs and lyrics take me back to my youth in many ways with the meanings I get from the music and the way it sounds. There really is no other singer I've ever heard that has such a unique voice. I saw her when she came through Dallas and played back in 2011. And unfortunately, that's the last time she's played here even though she's done some other European, Canadian, and a few US states tours up north and in California. She lives in Canada and is Canadian with a dual US citizenship. Her first album, Monarch: Lay Down Your Jeweled Head (I believe I got the title right but I always mess this one up... but it's these words maybe in a slightly different order). She then released a 2004 album, a 2007 album, a 2010 album, and then two more albums in recent years. I like all of them but I'm not as fond of the last two as I am of the ones up through 2011. It's not her vocals either in the later albums I don't enjoy as much. It's more the music. She is 110% better live in concert than on any studio album in my opinion. I've got a large number of rare concerts of her and she is just incredible and fascinating to listen to. But she is also great on the studio albums and amazing to listen to.8i
Anyhow, I just wanted to mention her to you in case you had any interest in checking out some of her music. I think there's one more album I forgot in the midst of those I mentioned above. Another one of her best albums in my opinion is that 2011 Metals album. And she really became famous in 2007 with the release of the album The Reminder. But I definitely highly recommend checking out some of her work and seeing what you thinkp.
I like that you have such a wide variety of tastes in your music. I'm a lot more of a classic rock kind of guy but through the years I have learned to appreciate so many other genres of music that I used to not even look at or check out. I really enjoy your videos and saw your channel for the first time today. That's an awesome music room you have too! Keep up the good work and thanks for the videos...

Hello Brandon - was able to sit back and watch your thread entry. Fantastic! In short, everything you talk about here here is new to me, and that is what I am enjoying about all these thread contributions. Tess Parks, Jennifer O'Connor, Little Dragon and Anika peaked my interest (but in truth, everything did!) Appreciate you taking the time to make the video, and mention my channel. Have subbed, and will be checking out some of your videos in your library. Glad to hear this topic is going to keep you busy for a while! Ed 😎🎶🎤🎸
