I like the vibe and appreciate your thoughtful takes. I haven’t used him since the change, but he helped me break 80k pre change. I’m a bit worried I’ll like him less now since a) he needs more timing (only an issue since he can lock himself out of his ult) and b) he’s worse for multi target content now. I also liked that his previous version could ‘cross’ multiple buff casts, meaning he might remove 2 buffs from one cast then 2 from next. He wasn’t keeping the boss as low as 1-2 stacks, but I also never had to deal with 6 stacks like you did in the vid. He was generally keeping it at around 2-4 stacks. Hopefully the legit bugs get sorted soon so we can all properly enjoy the challenge as intended.
Glad to see a positive video for Lucius. The fact that he takes timing and skill to use and gear is a good thing. And it seems like even for meta players he would be a good addition to at least one of the two team comps, especially with watcher faction coming up.

He is not going to do that, but I think some have swung too far the other way saying he’s useless. Hes definitely made a difference to my score! I’m sure with more optimization I could push higher. It seems the jury is still out as to whether semrah still needs more fixing though as he may still be bugged? Still a lot of confusion.
Such a dropped ball by the devs. Its nice to see that he works well in removing the damage resistances but that is not the 'hardening buff'. Semrah has been a bug show from release, its almost a shame you filmed this before the other bug got out, with your outlook on Lucius you could have shown both sides quite well.

Personnally, I see no change after the patch. Check the numbers. The same goes for all bosses with buffs. Basically the removal of the boss buffs does nothing at all. Your own testing conforms this: Had the buff removal worked, your score would have gone up by a significant margin.
Lucius does not cleanse both parts of 'hardening'. He wont remove the increased damage/rocks however he does cleanse the bosses p and m resist, you can see this pretty clearly. So he will still increase your dps through aegis phase but hardening is a lie. Semrah is bugged.

Personally I believe this a game-wide bug with the way buffs and debuffs work. He doesn't work at all in content with similar mechanics like artifact and arbiter. This makes Lucius a one-trick pony. Pretty useless IMO.
AMR, semrah and campaign stages he should, but imo codex and event stage bosses are something you shouldn't expect from him. But yes, he is a one trick pony atm, who only does half his trick. But that half trick can be quite significant when done right.
