My favorite philosophy channel, since i recently discovered it.
I especially appreciate your intellectual honesty and humility: you're a real seeker, and i am glad you share your journey with others, posing inspiring and thought provoking questions, that we can all benefit from in our own journeys.
As a Muslim who is a former atheist, and always a critical thinker, i really like the balance and respect with which you navigate the theism vs. atheism debate, in a time when such polarising issues are usually dealt with contempt and lack or respect for the opposite faction.
Peace and blessings for a new year full of interesting reflections on life, and how we humans understand it.

Joe, you've quickly grown into one of my most watched and favourite TH-camrs. Your scripts are among the best I've encountered on this platform (and I've watched a lot of similar educational channels) and transform abstract, difficult to grasp topics into things I can follow easily. You've rekindled my interest in literature, I'm currently looking at renting books written by Camus and Dostoyevsky. Do you have any particular recommendations or personal favourites?
All in all, I kust wanted to say thank you. Many if your videos have helped me examine elements of my own life and psyche from new angles and certainly have shaped part of the progress I made on myself this year. It's hard to quantify things like these, but you, in no small part, played a distinct role in shaping the way I started to look at things this year. Thank you for your content, for your knowledge and the fact that you so enthusiastically share it with us. May you stay in good health and spirit.
Edit: There were some recommendations from both I mentioned, but if you have further recommendations I'll gladly take them too.

It isn't surprising that your "profound books" are light fiction. Reading is, for most people, generally a waste of time, because most people don't know how to read correctly. My advice would be for you to stick to watching YT videos and making whatever widget it is you make so that you get the money to pay for your existence.

For those interested in Joe's book on love, I would highly recommend Dr. K's (the TH-cam channel HealthyGamer) lectures on attachment theory. There's a couple lectures on the main channel, and a few in the Members' section.
On Love seems to cover similar ideas, but for me Dr. K is the absolute GOAT of learning to understand yourself better, especially in his Members' Lectures. There are also many parallels in those lectures to other philosophers discussed in this channel

Choosing the Plague is such a solid choice for Camus. While Myth of Sisyphus and The Stranger are more famous (and should definitely be read) the Plague is much more accessible for its format and hint of hopefulness.

I’ve been battling with my faith in God as I usually do, and I loved reading St Augustine’s ‘Confessions’. It’s a pretty popular one, but I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone going through similar struggles, being lost.

Id also recomend "cupids poisoned arrow" for the relationship side of books.
Highly scientific and it very well be called the key for a (if thats even possible) perfect relationship.
By finding out and explaining why we fall out of love and how to stay in love (pretty much life long) and strongly deepen it without becoming obsessed.
Aswell as many more very usefull info.
If you dont believe such a book exist and there must be something wrong here: i am happy to tell you that not only come her findings from her own, and many other peoples relationships. but she has also used many many studies to give as detailed explainationd and recomendations as possible.
