One of the best instructional videos I found on youtube. The right speed (not over-explaining), great production, and honestly the exercise kinda slaps with those drums and bass. groovy. Gotta slow the BPM down when I play with my metronome, just starting out, but this is probably the best exercise for a beginner that I have found. You get a sick sounding roll, you learn your chords across the fretboard, you develop the quick switching between chords. they don't want us to learn it, but here we are
I'm still working on your first video exercise, but I'm loving your content, mustache, shirt, sun glasses and fly presentation. This is brill. Keep em coming and I'm gonna join your patreon, or better still ask my wife to give the full year as a xmas present.
Hey Maestro, at 4:45 you talk about the "nasty C7 Earl Scruggs lick" that you've mentioned before... But where can I find that video ? I really really really really REALLY would like to learn that lick/roll ! BTW, you're AWESOME !!!
Her Erwin, that lick is in Shuckin' The Corn, and that roll is used to get the A part to Groundspeed as well. It's a double reverse then a double forward with a pivot note basically!!!
Help, I’ve been Rick-Rolled, again! Thank you for your focus on theory in your lessons. For me, helped with: reinforcing chords harmonizing the G scale; seeing the Inversions of those chords up the neck: getting up the neck note locations into my smallish unmusical brain; in/mid/in/mid/in reps in the first measure. Is there another goal I missed?
First time I watched this video I was like, fuck man. Now it's a year later and I've been working hard on my dank-ass arpeggios, and I'm like, fuck yeeah ✌
I want a refund. I hit like, subscribed and practiced the last thirty minutes. No hot girls in bikinis showed up. Just a hobo that wanted a cigarette. I’ll keep practicing and work on my ‘stache.

Inverted colours in a video about inversions? The clues thicken the plot

No you got em all. The next step is improvising with this stuff over chord progressions
Just dawned on me.......the secret is in the stache.
Starting one today.

Did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in?
Working hard to defeat the 6-string agenda!
I thought you said I didn't have to practice
