That was me 😂 I never used to practise and always forget what it was when I had the lesson. I shared my lessons with someone who practised multiple instruments daily so I guess I was always gonna be second best 😂 At times I made the teacher very angry!
IM THE SHY STUDENT HELP MY TEACHER GOES "So, what were we learning in the previous class?" AND I JUST SHRUG KNOWING DAMN WELL I PRACTICED EVER SINGLE SONG AND EXERCISE HE TOLD ME TO
You need to communicate with actual words to your teacher. They don’t get paid enough to decipher what a shrug or glance means. They are your teacher. Stop being shy
Omg I have a vivid memory that I think about here and there of when I was uselessly strumming a guitar at like 8 years in front of my grandparents. All I have to say is that first guy replicated it PERFECTLY 🤣💀🎸
Lol, I just had a 15 minute trial lesson not too long ago and it was very easy to comply and the instructor was nice and very talented. It's funny to see types of other kids tryna learn.
Im a pretty shy kid, though now I am not shy around my teacher much anymore, I used to be. Ngl, this video is almost exactly how i was at first. So glad my teacher stayed strong.
Lmao. Stumbled on to this. In my early adult life, I spent every weekend earning money teaching beginner students. This was my Saturday mornings. It was not easy. I also had a kid who would get up and stroll around the studio all the time, distracted by anything except the guitar.
Dude the poor kids that can’t seem to squeak out a single note baffle me. They can’t possibly be THAT weak right? Like I’ve made sure their finger is in the right spot, they’re plucking the right string, nothing else is touching the string, I’ve told them to make sure they press it all the way down, and keep it held all the way down, and still, STILL they get nothing but a muted thump. Had one kid who’s case was so bad I thought maybe his strings were loose or snagged or something cause he SWORE he was pressing as hard as he could, asked if I could see his guitar for a second, it played fine, turns out he was in fact NOT keeping the string held down and was releasing pressure the moment he struck the string. Kids are dumb. Still a fun job though.
was the shy kid during piano lessons that i did for only a few months, quit and am now learning guitar by myself 😭 definitely going better than my piano lessons with a teacher
My wish before was having a great teacher who could teach me how to play guiter now i just practicing alone watching tutorial practicing 10 hours a day you could just master one fingerstyle within 3 days but its still different having teacher you can look up to and show him ur learning and wait for his reaction on how you learned so much thats the kind of thing i want ❤
I was the 00000 one when I was like 4~7 or so, on my grand dad's acoustic that he willed to my older brother, only I'd strum it to the melody or rhythm of songs I liked
Just play music; that's what practicing is. I personally don't consider random playing to be practicing because it doesn't make you better, nor is it intentional. You can start with anything. Just look up playthroughs or guitar tabs on youtube.
My niece is 3 and does #1 just not as aggressively. I start her on drums as soon as she could hold her head up and now she begs to "go up the stairs" to come play my instruments. Her and my sister live below us for context
i’m not even a guitar teacher, but i’ve handed my guitar to three of my friends and saw these exact different reactions from each of them. one of them just fuckin beats the strings, the other gets nervous and doesn’t even try, and the third just complains that her hands hurt when i tell her to push harder😭
First student is AKA "Nothing Else Matters but as chords"

He didn’t take guitar lessons…. He just was
The first one is literally every person trying to play my guitar
😢
Bro same
😂😂😂
Oh wow LITERALLY??????
Not everyone tho😅
“How’s been your week?” My good was week how about you?
This comment offerred me a chuckle, thank you
😂
My gut was weak? How a boat you?
My son would be a perfect in-between for the "OOOOOOO" and the "Ultimate muter"
It's 0-0-0-0-0-0-0 not O. Zero is playing a string without using any frets

Yeh, I know. What's your point?

The shy kid tho 😂
Push harder ..
Right hand shred
Play louder, increases speed
Play slower, become quieter 😂
Would love to have him as my teacher! All the outfits and guitars and facial expression exercises
I could show how to warm up correctly before doing all the faces hahaha
Buzz so bad it turned into a snare
TH-cam made me rate your comment and I said it was funny😭
I’ve been teaching for 24 years. You absolutely nailed it.
I thought he broke a string on the last one for a sec😭
W ps4 pfp
The first student is just like me 😎
I swear
The super shy one is literally me
Sometimes the shy student is the most gifted
Are you saying this from experience or from myth 🤨?
@@Pouinsano_ because i've seen several shy players being absolute gods
@@mastowl_7112 I was thinking about another thing XDDD
So true. Kids are the most frustrating guitar students. And their parents would always get mad at me for them not learning anything
..... Same here, bro. It's ALWAYS the teachers' fault although the kids don't touch the guitar not once in the week.
And the shy one plays the most heavenly song ever
How is the last one even possible 💀
Something harder? A teacher who plays and improvises himself, and ends saying "this is what you could do" every single class
It's sad because a lot of kids who want to play guitar don't have the opportunity, and they would be stoked to get lessons.
The 000000 unironically sounds really sick

Bro this is like trying to teach your cousin guitar.
The first kid rocked 🎸🤘🏻 The energy and enthusiasm 🎸
As a guitar child student, I could confirm this is 100% accurate
Ultimate muter is me fr
This is brilliant 😂 definitely saw these types of kids exiting from my guitar teacher’s studio
Omg I have a vivid memory that I think about here and there of when I was uselessly strumming a guitar at like 8 years in front of my grandparents. All I have to say is that first guy replicated it PERFECTLY 🤣💀🎸
You can't pretend like every guitarist doesn't do the first one regardless of age.
You should've shown the part where the shy kid starts playing the hardest guitar solo ever.
I was the kid who made too many fart jokes 💀
The first one is me when I’m bored lol.. it’s a stim it makes such a great noise and sound
And then there's me who plays drums but wants to learn guitar as second option and starts repeating strings like its drums😂
The ultimate muter has got to be one of thw funniest guitar themed skits I've seen
The last one sends me every time. Sounds like someone's cutting wood
Then the best of all the student who genuinely wants to learn and practices for hours at a time
Don’t forget the one that learns a completely different song than the one you’ve been practicing
THE ULTIMATE MUTER ENDED ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHSHSHA
Oh, there is another kind. There was this one kid who i taught for six weeks and than he had nearly caught up to me 😂 Hope he still plays.
Lol, I just had a 15 minute trial lesson not too long ago and it was very easy to comply and the instructor was nice and very talented. It's funny to see types of other kids tryna learn.
As a guitar teacher, this is so relatable
I’m sending this to my guitar teacher this is so funny

The one who's smart with instruments: 🫡
That sound is killing me. *TUNK!*
..sometimes i think i should start taking students,..ty for changing my mind
Teaching an adult how to play guitar is bad enough. I couldn't handle the suffering of teaching kids.
Oh my gosh.. It's at these times that the teacher shows what a teacher he is 😅
Your videos are really good, man!
my dad has a guitar and everytime i try to play it, I become the ultimate muter.

That's right. I'm a guitar teacher from Russia and its really truth!
I tried to teach my younger sister, and I definitely feel the last one
The shy one should just give up and start playing bass. (He's literally me 💀)
Been teaching for almost 20 years, the struggle is real.

😂😂😂😂😂. Teaching Guitar can be frustrating at times...
0 fret on all strings goes hard though
The first one is when 5 year old beginner touches a guitar for the first time 😂😂😂😂😂
Me and my friend who I have guitar lessons with will start playing sweet child o mine at any break in teaching
my students are literally the three types but together
That first kid has a 10% chance of becoming a steel guitarist in the future
Fun fact whem i first picked up a guitar and tried to strum a chord, i was the ultimate muter😂😂
Why are all of these me 12 years ago? 😂
Fuck you mean WHY?
Just gift the first guy DADGAD and send him on his way. 😊
The first one = Speacial Ed kid playing guitar
The muter killed me 😂
Had quite a few of those
The first one is like me when my ADHD kicks in
As a guitar teacher, i passionately hate the ultimate muter
The first one was me before I actually tried to learn guitar😂
the last one was me😂😂😂
Teaching myself rn feel like the last kid
you forgot the student who picks things up so fast you run out of things to teach
I can easily change between chords but I'm super shy on strumming and I mostly find Barre chords and Tabs as the hardest to learn
Instructor....So this is how you play a G cord. 💀🤣🤣
I fear the 2nd one is me
My student is number 2. Less extreme, but he's very quiet. He's a great kid, though, and it's obvious that he enjoys the lessons :) much love my man!
I never knew that level of muting existed 😆
Bro ive tried teaching friends guitar and bass before and the ultimate muter was giving me ptsd i used to get so stressed 😂
Like my kids when playing guitar.. he is 2 years old... 😂😂😂
First one is gonna be a great metal guitarist
Why is the shy kid with the hood so accurate tho
As music teacher myself to accurate lol😂
First one is my 2 year old daughter every time I take my Martin out😅😂
You forgot the "thinks he’s already better than you" and I’m really not looking at myself while saying that 😂
The "000000" had me dead on the floor
It’s like this teaching kids in a college dorm

You know I would drive guitar teachers mental I can confidently play the eruption solo but still can't play an f chord
I was the 00000 one when I was like 4~7 or so, on my grand dad's acoustic that he willed to my older brother, only I'd strum it to the melody or rhythm of songs I liked
ngl when someone asked me if i practiced i count flicking the strings as practice because idk how to practice.
