What space in your home would you love to do a DIY makeover in?!
I just finished my living room but I’ve been wanting to do the master bedroom for a while now
I really wanna make our kitchen open plan
I would really like to redo our guest bedroom!
I’ve never really had the eye or passion for DIY projects. I just like things simple and organized. My home project id love to do is organize my husband’s office since he has most of his items scattered everywhere since he’s a butterfly (if you watch Clutterbug’s video, you’ll know what I mean 😂)
Definitely my bathroom, it really needs it! The shower doesn't work & the bath takes forever to fill 😀
Thank you for being one of the only people that mentioned the stir craziness that you get while painting or doing a project! I think all these people that do these projects don't show the moments of pure panic during a project when you think you've made a huge mistake. I'm glad to know what's normal and to just trust the process and sleep on it! 😂

Before you move and start to paint it all back, see if your landlord is okay with the upgrades! Odds are they love what you've done with the place!
Right, when we used to rent, our landlord loved what I had done to the bedrooms, kitchen, and washrooms and hallway, they asked me not to touch it, as new potential tenants were going goo goo over the design

Baseboards matching colours of walls is amazing… and the extra width of them too.
Right now I am redoing my half bath because i just couldn't look at it anymore. Its a challenge tiling and painting a small space and working around fixtures. It's a complete headache. I'm glad you are honest about how long things took and how you have to take time and take breaks. You did an exceptional job, both showing, telling and the final result is beautiful. Great job

I have made over 2 bathrooms in our house this year, mostly just repainting and new decor. No new floors or trim like you did! I have also painted and redone 2 bedrooms and our dining room. I’m good for a bit!

This looks absolutely gorgeous! Love the floor tiles the most. I bought a house last year, we amre currently doing both the kitchen and bathroom after having done the living room, dining room/conservatory and all 3 bedrooms last year! Next for me: the hallway!! Xxx

I didn't care for the floor tiles at first but after it was completed it grew on me.
The trim (chair rail) around the room looked really good. I did that in our hallways with wallpaper on the bottom and forest green chair rail.
Dad poked his arm on the corner the other day so it's time for a change. It looks good still.
I think you could leave your changes and the landlord would be happy. It turned out really nice. Great job.
I have to do my bathroom and as there is no man to do this I have to come up with some ideal as my bathroom is not that big. I do love the way you took your time and came to an conclusion on how you wanted your bathroom to look and the color, especially the floor. 👍🏾🥰

We has this same house and layout on Pendleton and I’m so angry I didn’t know about these stick on tiles! This looks amazing in that bathroom! Completely transformed it.

Great inexpensive makeover, excellent taste! I have a full bathroom that needs a makeover. It is a long narrow space with one small window and it feels dark and dingy. I am hoping to do faux white marble countertop, paint the sink and toilet (only the outside!), repair and paint drawers under the counter that have no runners or are not fitting correctly. Lastly, there are tiles that I just hate (12 x 12, mottled gray, stained grout) and I want to cover these with a peel and stick option. I have never done something like this on my own before and am afraid to get started, but I am determined to get it done! Thanks for showing and correcting mistakes, maybe I can avoid making some of those... ;-)

Looks great, and very clever! Are you planning on putting in a bathroom 'threshold'? A (white) cut down piece of wood (plastic?) may do the trick. Also look into trim 'returns'. With all the work you put into these, you may enjoy leaning this extra finished look since you already have a trim saw. Shoe molding is for the 'Oops'! ☺️ 👍

The room turned out very nice, from a 78 year old lady who went through 4 houses doing many many changes through the years. If you haven't, please keep journals of the changes you make.
