Thing with Warzone (DMZ) and CoD players in general they dont understand flanking or repositioning so i was very succesful as a solo in DMZ cus everyone just thinks you gona repeak the same angle over and over. SO as a tarkov player i had a very easy time with it and its more fun for the challange.
The game is Pay to win. The only "win" in ABI is survival and taking loot. There is no Kappa container to earn. In ABI the biggest container requires payment. There is no Lightkeeper to grind for and challenging tasks to partake. Hell there is only 20 tasks at all and as soon as those dry up in ABI, its loot and hope you can make money to fund your next kit. So what does ABI have to offer that is original to itself? You can buy gear with IRL money. That is what separates it from EFT. Everything is Quality of Life that can be patched into EFT. You can't patch a soul into ABI.
I mean, my experience withABI matchmaking so far seems based on how expensive the gear you brought in. and I can say its pretty fair that dudes with shit tier met shiet tier too maybe with some odd tier 3/4. I personally just meh whatever with the P2W stuff, I sure have seen more stupid and blatant P2W that made you can't enjoy at all. Tho I must say the hate is a bit too exagerated personally speaking
I'm on the side of purchasing Koen being pay for convenience. I've been playing on mobile since day 1 and Koen is almost never an issue. The nuance that hasn't been mentioned is that the game has three matchmaking tiers based on gear value, so regardless of if it's bought or grinded, the rest of the lobby is roughly even in terms of gear. It's a good parallel to what you said about end of wipe tarkov economy, especially since AB won't wipe. Secure containers are absolutely pay to win though, and it always feels bad to loot a kill only to find he's got very little value because the gold ammo is in a container. The silver lining is that playing with a container in tarkov and in AB always pulled me out of the immersion a bit.
Monetising chat in ABI is genius. Watch any Delta Force stream where the streamer doesn't have chat covered - its hideous and toxic - at least this way they have to pay to horrible!

It is pretty simple with ABI actually, as what is the point of playing the game? To win and to win is to survive with loot, because unlike Tarkov, there is no other progression in the game other than making koen and getting loot. You can literally get koen and get loot by paying for it... And if winning is getting loot and loot is koen, well, buying koen is literally "winning". "Pay. To. Win." by it's very definition.

Not quite correct on the "only streamers" thing. It is a bit odd getting a key, but all it required is registering and waiting. I've played 2 test runs and this current release and haven't streamed (actually weren't allowed to in one of the tests if I recall correctly.) or made any video content for ABI or AB's normal mobile branch. I don't intend to either. I simply was around when the intent to make the PC branch was announced. I like the mobile variant for some quick fun, and happened to be in the AB discord to get told how to sign up for potential testing sessions/know they existed. Once I got in one it seemed access just ran through to each test after that. But if you want to get in quicker I believe another method of getting access was twitch drops, but I might be wrong.
