The fact that Arsenal are this persistent on getting a young striker at Vlahovic's level shows just how ambitious Arteta and the board is. If they do get him and the current crop of players keep improving, a title challenge in 2-3 years definitely isn't impossible for them.

@@vladannikolic7726 Arsenal need a striker. They are building a young team so Vlahovic would be perfect. Especially with his physicality and height, he is very much needed in Arsenal's front line. At the moment, that's one of Arsenal's weakest links, they need someone that can battle up front and also receive crossess from Saka and Tierney.

Yep, doesn’t sound promising. A lot of flapping with wings, but still miles to go. You need to sue PSG and ManC.
If we signed him and a cdm I’m quite convinced we would get top 4 this year. We only have 20 games left in all comps. From there we could really push on. It’s just going all in for it now. Otherwise we will end up wasting and losing the team of players we have.

My take is this; Get the deal done for him to move to the Emirates in the summer.

I think Arsenal should push to sign Schick and sell Aubameyang this January and look to bring in Vlahovic in the window following for a reduced fee as it looks like Lacazette will be leaving then as well so they will definitely need the depth, and with the quality that is 'available' now it is hard to ignore... Don't know why they don't push for Zakaria either? I thought we had been linked many times in the past for higher fees and now I see United linked for 5M and no sign of Arsenal interest when they need depth in that area and he is seemingly more than suitable for the role at Arsenal alongside Partey? Strange.

Looks meh . A washed up player in his mid 20s like alli doesn't seem good. He's slow, weak and average defending. The guy can only dribble and pass. Will get bodied in the prem.

In terms of world class strikers that would move to bigger clubs this year, Haaland is definitely number 1. To me right now I will rate Vlahovic at number 2 and Mbappe at 3. If Arsenal somehow manage to get Vlahovic in January his goals could easily take them to champions league, the boy is an absolute killer in front of goal just like Haaland.

Ofcourse Mbappe has the added advantage of being able to play on the right or left of a front three. That's why I think they shouldn't be compared cos to me Mbappe is better as a wide forward. That's not true. Look how long united took to sign Sancho and look how quickly we signed Gabriel, Tomiasu, Tavares, Odegaard. The bigger the deal, (ramsdale/white) the more complicated it is and takes longer.
But even them deals still took weeks we was linked with ramsdale for 3 weeks before we got him Ben White was about 2/3 weeks the and the same what my point is villa was linked with lucas digne and two days later they announced him at the club this is just a example

If Vlahovic thinks it's more important to get Florentina into the champions league than Arsenal, then he is being badly advised. There is no room for sentiment in football. Going to Arsenal now would show more ambition and getting them back in the champions league would strengthen his new club, so they could go on to even greater things. Maybe then he could go on to become a club legend like Henry

Best thing arsenal can do is to trade auba for a decent striker. I doubt any genuine “top striker” or young good striker would want to go to them considering they’re always hot and cold. There’s no point to possibly ruin their hot streak for the sake of arsenal just having a big name. They’re better off going for guys from bundesliga or ligue 1 right now. Hell, one of the guys they can try and get is en neysri from Sevilla on a trade + cash deal. He fits their system and is at a decent age for a striker to keep developing + he’s strong so he can compete with defenders in the prem. Getting vlahovic is extremely unrealistic

He's under contract till next year. You can only sign a pre contract when you are in last 6 months of your deal

Arsenal should sign vlahovic now and loan him back to Florentina now. The same thing we did with Saliba. That way he gets to bring them to champions league, and we get our striker for next year.
I'm not fully convinced by this story media making up, Arteta have made it clear from before and also now from last press conference. If a player having doubts or not fullt convinced about joining the club then he won't go for that player, so there is something in this otherwise Arteta at this point would have turned somewhere else
