Grabbed up one 2 months ago for 209 brand new..the quality is amazing for the price. Its right up there with Glock,Springfield,Ruger, and Smith & Wesson
Looks like a solid firearm. I see so many other pistols in it. The grip looks PPQish. The replacement panels on the grip very much like the VP9. The trigger looks like the CZ P10 and the slide looks like the CZ P07. Which is really a compliment to all this other pistols. All in all, seems like a really solid firearm!
I think that the way they formed the trigger guard and undercut looks very P-07 as well. I mean if you want to Frankenstein together a firearm one could do a lot worse than taking all the design cues that people simply love from companies like Walther, H&K, Springfield, CZ, and Glock. Then top it all off by running Sig Sauer magazines from arguably the top magazine manufacturer in the business, like there is a 1/3 of the cost of the pistol right there when you consider what it costs for two of those. As an added bonus it is cut for the most popular red dot optic in such a way that you do not need to run suppressor height sights to co-witness; that has to classify as forward thinking right?
I bought a Tisas PX9 Gen 3 Duty with a threaded barrel for $420 plus taxes. Stunning! Reliable and accurate after 450 rounds. I am very pleased. The tactical model has a larger barrel.
@@v.german11b the tactical and duty both are available in threaded and non threaded. The description on duty and tactical both say they come with removable flair mag well.
@@michaelvoorhees5978 yes, I don't see differences between the Duty and the Tactical. I own the Duty, and have been curious about why the other one is called Tactical, while looking the same.
I purchased one of the non threaded barrel Duty models in black last Friday. $285, what a bargain for everything you get! This is quickly becoming my favorite range toy. Time will tell concerning reliability, but, I don't see that being a problem. Hope I will be able to get a couple more before they get popular and pricey. Great thorough review of an outstanding pistol.
I recently purchased this model because I was looking for an economically priced weapon with high marks/reviews. The PX9 Gen 3 did not disappoint me. It is an excellent piece of work!
I got mine from Classic Firearms 2yrs ago for $302 shipped to my FFL... Had a few stovepipe issues with 115gr, they later released a 13.2lb recoil spring for it! I ended up running 147 gr with no issues. Front sight got loose after about 1k rounds, Glock tool worked great to tighten up. They also fit Sig P320 & Springfield XD & XDM holsters. I have 2500k rounds thru it and the trigger just gets better!
@1776 or Bust, I think that the fact that it has such minimal branding is part of the appeal to this firearm. Here is why, they did not skimp on anything where it counts; the machining of the barrel and slide is impeccable, it has grip modularity like a vp9, newer Steyr, and Sar 9, it uses top of the line magazines that are not proprietary and are readily available, the trigger while not quite as refined as a Canik elite, Walther PDP, or VP9 is still better than stock offerings from S&W, Glock, & FN. It uses the sighting from a manufacturer that arguably has the largest after market support, and yet still comes in at a price that is virtually any budget friendly. How can you go wrong? IMO, It is a purpose built tool without any unnecessary fluff added that would jack the price up, and that purpose is well communicated by the one large engraving that it does have on it "Duty", at that point enough was said. You have to hand it to the Turkish firearms companies; even though they are very budget friendly, they give the consumer a firearm that they can trust their life to and does not completely suck or need a ton of upgrades to be considered for personal defense carry rotations. Good review brother.
But my first one of these that we can go took it to the property and it shot amazing. I actually fell in love with it I went back yesterday and bought two more. They are going for $248.89 out the door with taxing up at my local store. The gun will fit holsters made for XDM, sites from a Glock 17 dovetails, and p226 mag you cannot go wrong! I can honestly say I love it! 🤷🏻♂️
I purchased the TISAS PX-9 base model for $229. 00. I liked it so much I purchased the longer threaded barrel to accept my silencer. Excellent firearm with a great feel and exceptional action. Shortly after putting 200 rounds through, it, I opted to buy the PX-9 DUTY model and added a Red Dot sight which fit perfectly, and again tried this with my silencer for another outstanding session. This is now my go to for 9mm and as you stated it just feels great and shoots as well as any of my other 9mm's (which I have a few). I Highly recommend it to other shooters, as you will not be disappointed. Great review and dead on...
I think it's funny how people talk a lot of s*** about it being cheap and not worthy of someone's ownership however based on where it came from I think this is an adequate firearm my range experience was better than it's been in a while I attribute that to my gun not to me because I suck at shooting
Had to send mines back the same day I bought it on 4/8. Slide wouldn't come off the frame and the striker wouldn't move forward after pulling the trigger. My lemon retuned on 5/15. SDS Imports replaced the trigger bar and safety plunger.
Yup I really like this gun. I dont have it but I been posting about it.. I love my Taurus G2c and G3with MCK kit and the best thing about it is that the Taurus G series also run the p226 mec gar bags.... I have an 18 round mag with a sleeve on the G2C and its reads p226. If this gun can fit in the universal conversion kit, FAP DEFENSE A.M.P I will definitely make this purchase.
Amazing value at $269 . Have shot mine twice and this pistol is capable of going into a quarter at 30 ft . In reviews some question of slide lockup on last shot and after shooting mine with 2 types of ammo it locked up every time . Incredible trigger at this price boxed with all kinds of accessories Glock sites and Sig mags . Buy it
Thank you for the extremely detailed and informative review. Greatly appreciated as many local gun shops don't carry them or have common knowledge concerning them. Beautiful machine and with the green finish. Nice significant upgrades. The WALTHER PPQ2 in .45 AUTO has a awesome amazing trigger. My friends BERETTA APX Centurion has surprisingly an amazing trigger. Have a PX 9 GEN3 in black coming in. But with only a ten round magazine and a holster. Excellent price. Wondering if I should get the SIG P226 20 rd or the 18rd Magazine or the original Zigana magazine. And will it be a flush fit? Thank you for taking the time for the review and the excellent close ups and angles. To get a thorough view of the excellent handgun. Stay safe, Cheers
