Tbh ultraman has better world and story building than kamen rider. I mean all the ultra series are connected with plot while the KR series sometimes just mash all of em up 😭. KR is basically more towards fan service than storytelling.
i don't agree with that, Being fully coonected or not doesnt change anything the storyline department. the Difference is that Kamen Rider keep each story to their own continuity, but they still have great storytelling (Revice in particular has been pretty good on the worldbuilding and Storytelling) and i have to correct you, not all series are connected. Tiga/Dyan, Nexus, Gaia, Trigger are still their own continuity, sure, the Ultras can now travel more easily between dimensions but doesnt change the fact that thoses series are still their own universe, not unlike what KR and Super Sentai do
and i would add, the way you decribed Kamen Rider pretty much applied to Ultraman Trigger, which was 80% Tiga pandering and 20% storyline (and even then, half of it didnt even made sense)
@@DarkAnon100 yeah KR has good plot and stories but individually while ultraman connects to one another. KR just sometimes mash it up and doesn’t make sense sometimes. Not saying that ultraman is good. For example like trigger was absolute trash 🗑. Some are good and some are bad. And for KR ghost and zio were negative trash. Just saying ultraman has better world building
And ultraman too has some series that are good individually. And some that are trash
