Block bet on river makes sense for targeting weaker Aces who think they're chopping but doesn't betting so small exploitavely open yourself up to being raised Wolf? I get you're essentially naming your price but will flushes really raise paired board? I think in this spot I either check call (player dependent) or if I bet I would bet 35-40% pot and not the 20% on the river
@@aznsensation10 Playing exploitatively in any way opens yourself up for being exploited as well. It's usually just a question of whether your opponents will take advantage. In your average live game very few players are finding enough river bluff raises to make it worthwhile to either stop block betting or to start protecting your block bet range in a balanced way. Against THIS opponent I would make a note to throw in some block bets with nutted hands as he's inclined to read block bets as weakness and attack back. In terms of raising with a flush on a paired board, it's actually a viable strategy against small bets. Though popular wisdom says raises should be polarized, against small bets you can still raise without polarizing yourself to nuts or air; you can raise enough to represent strong non-nutted hands that are simply worth more than the bet already out there. You see solvers do this frequently on flops with TPTK against small range bets.
Great to see you interacting with your fan base still playing lower stakes. It will bode well for you in the future. Others who started lower stakes and moved in higher stakes, left their supporters behind. Great job Wolfgang 👏
Wolfgang Poker. Make sure you love being a part of that +1 Standard Deviation Luck Club brother lol. You flop 3 Sets in 1 Session when I haven’t flopped 3 Sets in the last 6 months lol
In the first hand, if you’re thinking that someone could have A or K of spade, the river K could actually be really good for you. if someone turns a Ks flush draw into kings up, they could be willing to call quite a bit.
if you watch the footage of Howard in the 33 hand. he is all smug smiling and stuff until you reach for calling chips. then after your arms moves you see his face change to a more serious face. like all his joy went away. you know how you always play the player and not the hand. just an observation and he confirmewd it by showing 33
Nobody compares to you wolf also i went to a casino with my friends in Jacksonville and long story short they aren’t happy with me 😂 thx for teaching me everything you know about poker
12:10 a4 wouldnt raise there since 4 is counterfeited by 66 on board
11:55 ish

Lol you that mad Neeme, Owens and Mariano play bigger than you now?
i think the all in with 8’s is fine right? fd out some jj +, enough equity against a lot of holdings
Yeah, a good semi-bluff. A call in that spot would basically commit him to the pot anyway.

Thank you Wolfgang!!
I misread the $100 raise too

Happy birthday Wolfgang
thanks!!
why does 33 win against AQ with a A on the board?
It doesn't, he bluffed and made him fold
When are you coming back to the reserve , do you have that on your list?
Great play my buddy
idk if im stupid but how did pocket 3's beat ace pair with 6's on the board?
It doesn’t lol, AQ folded on the river raise. We only see the 33 cause Howard decided to show after the hand was over
Idk if I ever once saw you hit a w pair on the flop and then bet it's always a check there
A little unrelated since you aren’t at a casino, but how do you get video recording at a casino? Do you have to obtain permission first?
Pretty sure it’s just allowed at the poker table. Other table games are a no go though
Good Morning Young Man
thanks bro 👍
Greetings Wolfgang 👋 from Chi Town A W is nothing to sneeze 🤧 at. Keep the videos coming Peace and Prosperity ttyl
Feels like it should have been a lot more then a $75 victory with those cards
13:21 , am I trippin ? How he lose that hand? He said the chips are going the wrong way but he had a pair of aces and the other guy had pocket 3s ?
Wolfgang folded to a raise there.
Ok, Alex, I'm off to talk to Tom at, GLC...

$75 bucks profit? Hey, a win is better than a loss!
Can someone explain to me why pocket 3 beat his Ace at 13:11
Because pocket 3s is a set on that board lol
wolgang folded. He would have won. And there is no set on the board with the 3s, use your eyes my dawg

Please learn how to use the word 'myself' correctly.
Stop saying "myself". Say Me, K? Thanks. 🙄
Seriously.... Just remove "myself" from your vocabulary, bc you almost never use it correctly.
