Oh, I adore Iris Malikhân-a beautiful scent! Also their Ambre Chromatique and Patchouli Magnetik. Just ordered their Hibiscus Mahajád.
So shocked by how much I love Iris Melkhan!! It truly is almost impossible to describe, but wow, what a beautiful journey it takes you on! This is going to be a staple for me this spring.
It was my first purchase from this brand and I love it! I wasn't so much into iris fragrances, but after discovering Dior Homme parfum I've started to enjoy that powdery and lipsticky feel and Iris malikhan was my second iris fragrance. All thanks to your recommendation!

I adore iris-so powdery and classy! This one sounds pretty good...orris natural butter is soo expensive and delicious and has many facets including leather. I've recently discussed the discontinued Orris & Sandalwood by JM which is my most fav orris/iris fragrance. Do you know a great alternative for it?

Their santal volcanic is also another great one. I like what the did with sandalwood to give it a nice twist to it

Iris perfumes have really grown on me. Have you tried Atelier Materi Iris Ebene (I think it was renamed from Cuir d’Iris)? Or have you tried Atelier des Ors Iris Fauve? I love them both so much. I also love Parfum d’Empire Equistrius which is more of a suede Iris

Iris Malikhân imo is special and hard to describe iris fragrance. It's both buttery , woody aromatic, earthy - leathery , with slight sweetness, and bitterness i guess from the Mastic. The scent goes through a lot of phases , you never know what to expect , it changes non-stop on my skin.
It's quite good isn't it? One of the best releases form 2020! :)

Hey Sébastien, could you please compile a list of your favorite 10 GINGER fragrances. You may categorize them in light, moderate and strong gingerly facet if you could. Ginger plays a very important role in freshening up a frag and also provide a spicy direction in a fragrance composition so I think it would be a great video.

Hi Sebastian! What would you recommend for a fragrance purely scented with incense and additional notes of myrrh and beeswax if available. Nothing too powerful such as Rien Intense Incense, but at least strongly noticeable from a fair distance. I would like my scent to resemble as I’ve been living in a traditional Catholic/Orthodox Church.
Disclaimer-I’ve recently watched your videos on incense fragrances and I’ve also read a few reviews online which definitely mixed up my preferences to an extent.
The only three options I’ve come around with were Casbah, Avignon and Rien, respectively. However, I am genuinely looking for a fragrance that is strictly incense and also has a strong silage and longevity.
Please forgive my poor sense of terminology, as I am a newcomer to the world of fragrance.

To me CDG Avignon smells of my Christian Orthodox church. Full Incense by Montale also. You can also try the Jovoy La Liturgie des Heures or Oriza L. Legrand Reve d'Ossian! :)

I think this fragrance could be contentious. I do detect mastic, leather, amber, orris and a hint of vanilla. It’s unusual. It reminds me of an old bookstore, which i like - but may not be for everyone.

I should do a comparison but Nightclubbing which I own is softer and not as loud as Iris Malikhan! :)

Above average but all skin chemistry is different test to see how it works on you.
