Very much looking forward to this. Having the Coverdale Psalter restored alone makes it worth having, for me.

I'm curious, with traditional language and the old Coverdale Psalter, what's left that will make this stand out from the 1928 or 1662 BCP enough to be of value? Thinking you might have some thoughts since I know you have some experience with the 2019 BCP.

@@ThriftStoreBibles that is a legitimate question. I haven't studied the 2019 enough; I shall have to rectify that.

@@ThriftStoreBibles mostly the dual eucharistic liturgies as well as the inclusion of the special services for certain Holy Days and the new Kalendar with matching collects.
Not sure of the distinctives between 1928 and 1662 collects, but the 3-year lectionary of the 2019 makes the collects quite different (some are new to '79 and 2019 which are not in the 1662; others are in 1662 but will be missing in the 2019 TLE; still others are moved about to different Sundays than originally in the 1662, especially after Trinity).

@@ThriftStoreBibles Midday, compline, and family prayers. Inclusion of a non absolution after confession (a petition), the daily office that many people like, and a lectionary that includes less of the apocrypha (I think this is more fitting with the 39 articles.

Do you know if there are any plans to release the Traditional Language in a "traditional" binding, perhaps on India paper in bonded leather?

FWIW, Because it is a sewn binding -- an individual could always buy one, and have it re-bound by a bible-rebinder or something

Yes, the first several thousand copies of the standard BCP had a defective binding. The present book for sale has fully remedied this issue. Anglican House will replace defective copies free of charge (within reason) if you contact them.

Its not that I don't like the Red 2019 BCP. I really do and even purchased the Goatskin New Coverdale Psalter. However, I do prefer the a more traditional setting. So, I look forward to the release of the Traditional Language 2019 BCP. I still intend to takes the New Coverdale Psalter with me when I leave home. Ironic, I know. But, I think the Coverdale Psalter works in traditional and modern language.

1:00. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This version DOES NOT QUOTE FROM THE 1611 King James Version. IT QUOTES FROM THE 1769 REVISION OF THE KJV AVAILABLE IN STORES TODAY. Until a few years ago when a scholar named David Norton edited and issued THE CAMBRIDGE PARAGRAPH BIBLE, the last time a fairly complete and accurate verision of the original 1611 edition was printed was in 1875 as is documented in Dr. Norton's textual history of the KJV. It bothers me greatly that no "scholar" in the ACNA is aware of this well-known and well-documented historical FACT. I'm a layman of average intelligence and no scholarly credentials whatsoever in religion and/or theology with only the fruits of my undirected and unsupervised studies to show for my labors. Yet EVEN I know this. This very serious--and very basic--mistake raises concerns about what other basic information your leadership doesn't know or has overlooked. I am very disappointed, dissatisfied and angry about the direction taken by mainstream Anglicanism and am searching for a theological home. But, this level of ignorance and the hypocritical dual standard where the ACNA accepts willy-nilly divorce and remarriage despite the fact Jesus clearly calls such adultery while demand that gays whom Jesus said absolutely nothing condemnatory of are to remain celibate and alone makes me realize you are not the place for. I guess "it is not good for man to be alone" applies only to heterosexuals.

Just curious - is there a specific (Mis)quotation from the KJV within the BCP 2019 that flagged that it *wasnt* the 1875 edition?
Also, FWIW - I also grieve and pray frequently over the dissonance and damage caused by the ACNA’s generally un-catholic view of remarriage after divorce.
The Kingdom of God would be blessed if you channeled your anguish over it into prayer as well. The Bride of Christ is sick - she needs our love and care.
