Conversion kicking wasn't great here, but there are certain games and moments where i just wonder how Quade Cooper didn't become an all time great. I know he has a good share of clangers, but there's just so so so much talent

Watching this game back realise how unstructured the game was before. The Blues were playing with with simple pattern compares to nowadays. There were less 3-3-2 or 3-3-1-1 or 3-2-2-1 pod during the open play for the forwards pack. Less backdoor to the backline. Rely more on mongrels and cohesive of the forward and skills and speeds for the backs especially on open play. The game were more open and more off load. The game has evolve so much during the past 10 years.
