**Giveaway** Thanks to Angling Direct for allowing us to giveaway the AD Get Fishing Float Pack used in this video. I'm baffled this video only has 33k views. There is no assumed knowledge, you've explained absolutely everything in perfect detail, and I haven't left the video having to search for explanations of things you've glossed over (like I have on a lot of other videos).
Took my 10 year old grandson fishing for the first time. He caught and lost a carp on his first cast. Caught three more, he is now hooked. Great video, I have been away from the water for such a long time and found your advice invaluable.
Really enjoy your delivery it’s refreshing as trying to get my 10 yr old out fishing and as I’ve not fished for many years, your instruction is very clear for the novice without being patronising!
A great intro for me and boys that had a taster day in the summer at Henfold Lakes, Surrey. Something we can do as a family and are really enjoying it. The kit would be amazing to help us with the setup
I would love to take up fishing again. You can really get back to nature and appreciate all it has to offer. Just concentrating on your float is a great way to clear your mind which helps you to relax, something I think is important with the troubles of COVID and the mental Heath issues that we are hearing about. Just a comment about safety when new to casting. Always check your surroundings, especially over head. Electricity cables are extremely dangerous if over head with carbon rods etc. Stay safe and tight lines !
*These are easy to use and highly visible **enjoyable.fishing** recommend they are extremely valuable for going from a dead drift set up to a float setup. They save time and you don't have to re-tie everything to add a float to your presentation.*
A great video pal very educational. Well explained and even as I have been fishing for 2 year's now mostly lure fishing but have only fished with float a handful of times and always took me a while to get the depth right but not anymore I always wondered what the lead weight with the loop on top was for lol not anymore thanks again Top video pal well done.
Absolutely amazing video, I was so lost before but now I am getting it, just one question, how do I know how much line to let off when setting up my rod and where to to tie my waggler/how far up the line?, thanks!
I loved the video it has given me the push I needed to get back in to angling. I am from an age where we learnt from Mr Crabtree cartoons and then trial and error. I would love to win the Angling Direct pack so that I can take my grandson fishing so that he gets the same joy from the sport that I did.
What a great video, just started out with my son, we have been twice and was wondering why we have caught anything, would be great to win the gear so we can start doing it properly and hopefully start catching.
Hi, first of all great video for beginners like me! I'm shortly moving from the south coast where I started shoreline fishing. As I'm moving back to the Midlands and there aren't many beaches around and as I wanted to keep fishing, thought I would go freshwater fishing. Anyway, the Angling Direct offer is probably no longer available because of the video date, but you never know??
Great video, thanks. I would love to win this kit. I have recently bought my son a whip to start fishing and this would be a great 'next step' for him.
Hey would love to win the gear, haven't fished for years and would love to get back into it, also would of liked more time spent on how to keep the float in place with shot and moving it to adjust the length
I would like to win the kit, my son took me fishing on a one day permit a few weeks ago lending me a rod and reel for he day and I loved it. I do have more spare time now so would like to take up fishing. Cheers Pete
I do find it funny when the “carp official” states “don’t use a towel, it’s an old skool method”. Well if your about the welfare don’t stick a hook in its lips 🤷♀️

Great video. My beginner kit doesn't include hooks to nylon, just hooks. Can I just knot the hook onto the main line?

Would love to win this as looking to take my kids fishing. Not been for years since my teens. Both kids love being outdoors and this would be prefect.
