Thanks for letting me ride along through my hometown👋🏻. I don’t get back much since I’m out of state now but it’s always fun to see how things have changed✌🏻
Consider Ephrata my home town. Was just there for a visit over Labor Day, looked fabulous 🤩 Great to see. Next time come home for Fair ☺️. Thanks for the drive
Great to see the old house at Main Street and Robert Street in the Lincoln area where I grew up as a boy. Now I'm 80 and live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I also see were I was born in 1943, the renovated building near Spring Garden Street (the old Mt. Sprngs Hotel property). And my old Church! Thanks for the memories!
I was born and raised in Ephrata I know every place in this video! Edited: 5:26 goods striker is not there anymore they put a new one up near Akron! 8:22 this is the cloister 12:46 if u turn right is where I live
Atta girl Quiet! Went by my fave hardware store in the world (Paul B. Zimmerman’s) just off Wood corner Rd. on your way into Lincoln. My next visit to PA, I gotta walk those aisles again. 😊
@@quietplaces2018-Yes, my son climbed right up beside me in the truck every time heading that a way; my daughter almost as often. Kids love that old-fashioned simple country store. ❤️
I have become a fan of Gideon King hardware. The first time that I was there the clerk offered to send me a bill because I was limited with my cash. He told me that if I drove 6 hours to buy things I am not about to skip out on my bill. This was over 20 years ago. I still stop by when Iam there.

We do too! We will be doing Hershey sometime in near future too!!!! Have a good day!
Very busy dangerous highway. And noisy.. what direction are you heading? What state?
It’s in Ephrata Route 322. Yes it’s a very busy area in the center of Ephrata. Once you’re out of that area, it’s very nice and serene.
