I lived in Cairo for 25 years and I loved it the Egyptians are awesome the food and the fruits and the vegetables are better than America but the best of all is learning Quran and Arabic..Im 77 now, coverted at age 38 and started learning Arabic at age 50. Now I am fluent in reading writing and speaking and memorized 1/10 of Quran.
Honestly as an Egyptian who's learned several languages to fluency including Polish, the fastest and most efficient method is watching native content with native subtitles while pausing to look up any new words (it's gonna be a TON at first), then re-watching the same episode or same part but without subtitles. This method is ridiculously fast, and there is plenty of native level content in both Egyptian and Standard Arabic. You could even use anime from Spacetoon or whatever, that's legit how I learned MSA as a kid, grinding grammar and poetry in school doesn't actually teach you the language anywhere near as well as immersing yourself into the language by watching native level content. Nowadays it's even easier since you have tools like chatgpt that you can use to look up the words faster and on a more personalized level, you can ask it to even explain the differences between similar words that would otherwise be hard to differentiate. This is easily the most efficient method out there. I really implore you to at least give it a try. Good luck brother.
I am a Muslim girl from Egypt 🇪🇬 I was touched by your meaningful content, and I hope that you learn Arabic well and you can recite the Qur'an in ten recitations❤😊 ان شاء الله يوما ما سنشاهدك كواحد من حفظة كتاب الله و مفسرينه ❤😊
@@9wraitth It's a try and error kinda thing, I wouldn't go to fancy places like that though because it's more about the experience you get rather than the skill the barbers have, I already found a really good one that's better than what I have at home :D

Brother I'm Egyptian and for some years I've been trying to get to a fluent level in English, your video has really motivated me a lot! Jazak Allah khair brother!
Allahumbarik I also lived and study in Egypt last year for 6 months. It was hard being a uni student and taking a semester off but I loved it so much. Genuinely time well spent, In shaa Allah you enjoy your time there!!
Alhamdulillah, I did private for 6 weeks back in 2018 after studying a bit of Arabic in the UK. 6 weeks of private 1 to 1 Arabic lessons, and I came back to the UK speaking very fluent. I practised speaking to the teacher daily, writing a lot of conversations, listening to lectures in Arabic, and I still speak to the teacher till this day. If you’re serious, you will be disciplined and show up each day for the 1 to 1 lesson, and the good thing is you can move at your own pace and keep asking questions, bond with the teacher and get their full attention.
I've been thinking of doing the same thing in either egypt or KSA and these videos are really helpful in giving the perspective for Egypt. Allahuma barik
I know exactly what you mean about taking yourself out of that comfort zone. I did that exact same thing back in 2008 which is the same year I went to hajj and I pray to ALLAH that he accepts it. After hajj I study in Syria that same year too. May ALLAH continue to reward you for your efforts and don’t give up at all.
@ It was a headache tbh, We originally did the orfi marriage but that is not recognised outside of Egypt. Took us a couple of years to do the recognised marriage. Crazy amount of paperwork required from Embassy’s, Egyptian authorities etc. And as for a foreigner you need the muslim certificate if your marrying a muslim woman.
As an Egyptian teaching Arabic and Quran to non-native Arabic speakers, I wish you all the best in your endeavours and may Allah SWT make your intentions sincere.

Make dua and take the means to improve. Distance from social media, pray your all your obligatory salawat in the mosque if youre a man. Read some Quran daily. And seek knowledge with the scholars of ahlus sunnah, online or in person preferable in person. Like sh salih al fawzan, abdulMuhsin al abaad, salih as suhaimi, salih as sindi. In egypt for example sh adil as sayyid, khalid al misri and more

I appreciate some of the differences you might find between Egypt and UK. However Egypt is much more affordable if you earn in a different currency, food in Egypt is incomparable if you make sure you order from decent restaurants, people in Egypt are generally friendly to foreigners (though be cautious not to be fraud), mosques and halal food everywhere. I have learnt English by watching a lot of English native content such as movies/documenteries but my writing is still bad so you will still need to practic that. I would recommend to watch a movie or a documentry twice if you don't understand most of the arabic words..... watch it first time in the native arabic Arabic with English subtitles but the 2nd time in Arabic with Arabic subtitles and as you watched before in English subtitles ... you will be able to correlate a lot and learn a lot more than you think.....
I also want to tell you, brother, that this (sok almuslimen) has another branch called "wakar", if you do not find your measurements in the first branch in front of a large coffee called Al-bhnsawy at the bridge that you passed through in the video with Uber. I work there.
