About to run me off my patch too your not alone. Shit needs to change in this country and it needs to happen soon! Prayers to you and yours and all the rest of the fine American people in the same way.
Just saw James King the other day at Willow Oaks Park at their annual spring bluegrass festival. Poor ole James was looking pretty rough but he went up there and sung this song and I'd have to say, he still sounded good.
I agree. He plays it like Monroe said, "Whip it like a mule!" And his singing is fantastic. His and James' voices are meant for each other. Too bad he's no longer working with James. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting. Jack
I just love Kevins' solo's! I live in the UK and the first time i ever saw bluegrass mandolin it was played by him and i was about 4ft from him in a bar (they played some theatres nearby). I was awe truck, he just seesto play it the way it aught to be played. Thank's for posting!
Who is Kevin Prater singing and playing with now?? Some of the best vocals and picking on the soil of grass roots. Sure love his music still and always will. James was a lovely man =) as well. Miss his presence.
Kevin has his own band now - The Kevin Prater Band. I call it The Mighty Kevin Prater Band. His and James' voices blended so perfectly both in tone and inflection. We have lost a powerful singing duo, but we do still have Kevin carrying the torch...
Funny I just came here looking for Kevin Prater. Never heard of him and he's playing here tonight. I saw he was with one of my favorites, James King. Looking forward to tonight's show.
+BGRTV +BGRTV I didn't mean to offend. I just wonder if it took more time out of your day to tell me off than to add a credit in the description. I believe I was polite and also thanked you for sharing.
My Dad stopped talking the day the farm was auctioned.

Could we acknowledge somewhere that this song was written and originally performed (and owned by) Fred Eaglesmith?
+Carlotta Kane I think you just did, and thank you very much.
+BGRTV I agree that info should be in the video description. Thanks for sharing!
