Agreed. I loved this game. I loved how they brought back so many forgotten characters. It was such a perfect way to showcase Oswald after finally buying him back from Universal. Too bad I heard that the second game flopped because they had too many musical elements to it.
Mutch Games No it was because the game was very unpolished in terms of glitches and technical problems. Plus Oswald's ai was pretty bad in a lot of the game
Logan Not the one from Marvel I personally didn’t like the second one because it wasn’t as long or difficult as the original. It just really disappointed me that I was able to just breeze through it in less than a week. The original took me so much longer to complete, and I liked that! It made me appreciate the end a lot more. When I beat the final boss of the second one I just thought, ‘Wait... That’s it? That’s all this game has to offer?’ I just wanted the second one to be as difficult, if not more so, as the original.
The second one was a beautiful game and fixed a lot of problems of the first one, but it's characters were flat and the choices you had to make were too obvious. It was also too easy.

i got this games back in 2011 and it gave me the creeps. It looked cool but i was only young and when i played the game i dumped it and told my brother to help me. I was so scared of the game but i've moved on and i have almost completed it. its taking ages to complete though. i am kinda stuck so i came here! its been 6 years just to figure out what exactly im doing! So... =]

I saw it in Game Informer and thought it would be good to have a dark Mickey Mouse game. Got it, and saw while it was dark, it wasn't too dark (possibly because Disney didn't their mascot being too dark since kids love him.)
Played it when I was 8. I had numerous dreams/nightmares about it. But, it was a good game.

Well I do have one but it's hard to find in America. It's called Touhou. It's a game that hasn't really come out here in America. Although one I like to recommend to people is Final Fantasy. It's a great series of games though they are kind of long. Just letting you know.

This is such an underatted game. It's actually one of my favorite games, and I wish I could play it again and finish it. I still hope Disney decides to eventually make an Epic Mickey 3, even though it's unlikely.
I hope they go away from the musical genre they tested in epic mickey 2. That killed that game for me and they said epic mickey 3 would be full blown musical. Epic mickey 1 however is my favorite Wii game. I love it.

I was only 6 when I played it for the first time, so don’t worry, I was scared of it too but at the same time I loved it.
My brother was the first one to play it. I liked watching him play it so much I tried playing it for myself, but he didn’t like me touching his stuff. So I would have to sneak into the playroom when he wasn’t around. At one point he caught me and let’s just say it wasn’t pretty.
The fact that this game is coming to all platforms gives me even more hope for the Epic Mickey series. It probably won't be leng before Epic Mickey 2 and possibly even Castle of Illusion are also remade as well. It wouldn't surprise me if Epic Mickey 3 becomes a reality seen!

@@HiEverybody Met too! I played the 1st a few times through, the second maybe only twice but I would have plunked my money down for the third no matter what! I was at Disneyland just before the 2nd was released and all the busses from the hotel to the park had an Epic Mickey overlay on them. I drove everyone nuts yelling, "Epic Mickey!" every time they went by.
I Remember playing this close to when it just came out and man was i mesmerized by the eerie vibe of the game.
I couldn’t beat it until years later because of the puzzles and combat but either way this fuckin game’s story and world was super unique and there will probably never be a game like this ever again..

What I love about the game is how the cutscenes are extremely well animated between the background and painting it had to it self
The inventory of Wii games are thinning out at game stop so I went & bought up as many as I could I got this game for 3 bucks! I've had my Wii boxed up for years I never even gave the system a chance but I recently gave it another shot and I've had more fun going through games like this one and the two Mario galaxies, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Return to Dreamland & a few Sonic games, Toy Story 3 then anything I played on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 lately. I can't believe I nearly missed out on what the Wii had to offer
+Ricky Bridges I paid about 2 bucks for my copy from gamestop. Totally worth more than that with how great of game it was. I highly recommend also trying punch-out, the two Zelda games and metroid prime 3

Ricky Bridges, I still have my first Wii that I got as a child and I remember playing basically all the LEGO video games, the super Mario galaxy games, all the Epic Mickey games, smash bro’s, and some Resident Evil and Zelda games that scared the living daylights out of me.
This happened to me right now. I have 220 games on PS4 but because I’ve played the system so much in the pandemic I got bored. Bored of long and huge overwhelming open worlds, cloned battle royales, daily enslaving missions, and the same shooter mechanics on every game.
I plugged my Wii and I’m having so much fun playing. It feels like going back to video game roots, and everything feels really smooth and entertaining. Sometime it’s good to follow a path.

Dude I wanna play this game again now. I was like 8 or 9 when I played it, and I loved it. I’m 18 now, and my Wii has long since bit the dust, or at least I think it has. We still have it, but unfortunately I traded the game in to get the second one when it came out. I was drawn to it because of the darkness of it, how it was really gritty and sinister in nature. The boss that I remember having trouble with was the blot in the Tomorrowland Theater, and the one that stuck with me was either the Clock tower or the Mad Doctor. Best musical piece though was definitely the Clock Tower fight

I got this game when I was 8 and have easily beat it like 8 times. It's so goddamn immersive for a kids game. And holy fuck that soundtrack, that beautiful fucking soundtrack. So creepy and awesome at the same time, it creates a sense of adventure. And how is it that this is more of an adult game than some actual adult games. I don't know, I just adore this game.
I remember renting this game on redbox when I was younger, but we were only allowed to have for a few days and due to how fast mickey moves and the giant world, I gave up because I was too lost, but my younger brother finished in no time. I would like to play this again and just take in the scenery, artwork, and music

This is the most horrifyingly gorgeous game ever. The music alone gives me so much nostalgia. Thanks for providing the only good walkthrough on TH-cam - the other two are both bad, since one has the wrong background music (which drives me nuts, I love James Dooley's writing) and the other just completes the game without getting all of the extra content and pins (which doesn't fully show this wonderful game).
I'm glad you enjoyed my longplay. I always try to bring people the full nostalgia experience versus swapping audio to make money. This was my original recording of it, which i did blind. I actually redid the game this last year and 100% it across the 2.5minimum runs through the game. Unfortunately the amount of copyrighted Dooley material got the 100% paint part blocked for now. One of my favourite games of all time, the storyline, the gameplay, the music. Absolutely incredible, must’ve watched this longplay atleast 10 times now, gonna end up buying myself a wii at this rate hahaha, wasn’t much of a fan of the second EM though, was still good but couldn’t top the first one.

I used to play this game when I was 7 or so and I absolutely loved it, even though some parts were really scary haha. I really regret selling both Epic Mickey 1 + 2 a few years after I was done with them. Those games were a part of my childhood and I was so happy watching some parts of this Video.

Awesome, I still have this game for my Wii, I bought this game back in 2019, I haven't played this game much, And last place I stop was Bog Easy, I'm sure when I have time, I'll continue this game during the week or weekend. Although, Nice Wii Longplay of this game.
Considering how Epic Mickey was known for some of Disney’s obscure and lesser known IPS and characters, I think it would have made more sense if this was made as a movie instead of a video game because it would be more well known by people who know Mickey Mouse but had no idea this game truly exists. It would have also introduced Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to all of Disney’s audience.

This was my favorite game by far! I use to play this game over and over when I was younger!! I remember telling a kid at my art school that I beat this game three times in a row and they couldn't believe that I was able to beat the game even once XD!! This game was just so creative and the best wii game by far!!! And to this day I still think that this game is amazing it's such a shame we didn't get a 3rd game becuase I would love to see what happens next! P.s my sister was scared of the Blot when I use to play this game😆(also the soundtrack is like wow amazing) hehe that is all

I like to describe this game/artstyle as Alice madness returns but kid friendly and with splatoon instead of, you know, actual weapons and blood
