Hey, Dianne! I just found your channel here! I love your Joni covers! I have been a Joni fan since I was about 9 years old. Great job, and thank you! ❤
Thanks wholeheartedly for yet another fine, very fine, rendition of my most respected Joni Mitchell song, Dianne! Why most respected? When I heard the story behind her composing this song, I hastened to listen to it anew. Even by my mid-teenage years, I had ended a few relationships in which I had felt betrayed. It's incumbent for me to also admit that I went on to have other romances ended by my justifiably aggrieved beloveds. But it would have been a counterintuitive, to say the least, high honor to have had a song of this complexity and beauty drafted to call me out on my misdeeds! David Crosby was trying to be a "player" when he tried "to play" one brilliantly smart and articulately eloquent Joni Mitchell. I hope he was eventually glad to have been so artistically put aside because of his insincerities. I know I would have!
@@diannebeal-amick4145 I stopped listening to a lot of Joni's music when she started into a lot of jazzy influenced and smooth jazzy arrangements in her music. I have heard that album from 1976 and do really like the song, "Amelia" very much but just not into the jazz genre of the majority of the other songs . Yes, the songs on this album are well written songs, it is just the jazzy arrangements that I don't get into. I love all her folk music and have all her album's from the folk period years. I am also a huge Joan Baez and Judy Collins fan.
You have the most amazing Joni covers!!
Oh, how beautiful, thank you!
I'm almost 20 but I feel already nostalgic anytime I hear this song. It sounds like falling in love. Joni's first two albums are beyond beautiful.
Yes they are! ❤
Very very peaceful performance.
Just as good as the original.
Great to hear you again with this new Joni cover! Beautifully done, as always, Dianne!
Absolutely love your covers!! Thank you…
Love your kitty as well❤🎼❤️🎼❤️
Lovely as always...❤
You're really good and you always look so happy playing. You make me smile. 🙂

She's back! 🥰
Hi Ken! Hopefully! 🤔😃🥹
Thanks for sharing that tuning I had heard that one before I agree I think that’s the one sounds great keep up the enjoyment🎶🎸
Nice!
@ 0:37 , I remember the lyric to be 'playing on the horses,'
I remember the repetition of 'playing.'
Yep, you’re right. Rehearsed it right, sang it wrong. 🤔😄

I've done that ...too🤪😍
Wow! Absolutely outstanding cover! Are you playing out at many gigs?
What Joni song is the hardest for you to cover (if there is one)?
I haven’t played a gig in years. One of the hardest of Joni’ songs was probably Black Crow. 😻

Great job on this witch tuning did you use?
It’s an odd tuning. Starting with the 6th string, it is EEEF#BE. The first E is an octave lower than the other two, 4th and 5th.
