Just bought this in Hamburg with zero reviews. Had a four player game with an 81 year old. She loved it. Very easy to learn, even for people who are at the level of dice games complexity. We all had a blast.

What did you think about the randomness of the card draws? It seems like there's still can be a significant random component to this game (that Jen seemed to suffer from in your playthrough!).
That makes sense, but more to the point for me is space. I'm hoping to full-time RV soon and have to be pretty choosy with my games. This part makes me the most stressed with the whole ordeal. I'm sure you know what that feels like with your big move! :)

This or The Quest for El Dorado? Checked your ratings, but Luxor isn't ranked. I'm guessing you're waiting for the mini-expansions?
hmm, at this point, El Dorado. The expansion might put Luxor on top, but then an expansion is coming for El Dorado too :)
Quest for EL Dorado. BOth are excellent designs to me.
