  • In the realm of philosophy, few concepts are as profound and thought-provoking as "The One and The Many." It encapsulates the intricate relationship between unity and diversity, shedding light on the fundamental nature of existence itself. Swami Sarvapriyananda, a renowned spiritual teacher and philosopher, delves into this timeless topic, offering insights that transcend the boundaries of conventional understanding.
At the heart of Swami Sarvapriyananda's discourse lies the recognition that beneath the myriad forms and expressions in the universe, there exists a fundamental unity. This unity, often referred to as "The One," is the underlying essence that pervades all of creation. It is the divine thread that connects every being, every phenomenon, and every moment in time.
However, while "The One" represents unity, the world we perceive is characterized by diversity. This diversity encompasses the endless array of forms, experiences, and perspectives that define our reality. From the smallest atom to the vast expanse of the cosmos, diversity is inherent in the fabric of existence.
Swami Sarvapriyananda elucidates how understanding the interplay between unity and diversity is essential for navigating the complexities of life. He emphasizes that while diversity may appear to separate us, it is ultimately an expression of the underlying unity. In recognizing this unity amidst diversity, we can transcend the limitations of ego and identity, embracing a deeper sense of connection with all that exists.
Moreover, Swami Sarvapriyananda's teachings extend beyond mere philosophical inquiry; they offer practical insights for leading a more fulfilling and harmonious life. By cultivating an awareness of "The One" amidst the many, individuals can foster compassion, empathy, and acceptance towards others. This shift in perspective not only enhances personal well-being but also contributes to the collective welfare of society.
In addition to exploring "The One and The Many," Swami Sarvapriyananda's discourse serves as a tribute to the timeless wisdom of Swami Brahmananda, a revered spiritual figure whose life exemplified the principles of unity and service. As the celebrations mark Swami Brahmananda's 153rd birthday, his teachings continue to inspire countless seekers on the path of self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
In essence, Swami Sarvapriyananda's discourse invites us to contemplate the profound unity that underlies the diversity of existence. It encourages us to transcend the limitations of our individual perspectives and embrace a broader, more inclusive understanding of reality. By doing so, we can experience a profound sense of interconnectedness and belonging, ultimately leading to a life of greater peace, harmony, and fulfillment.

My last will to reach that very great tree, if possible , where Brahmananda Ji Maharaj met with SriRamakrishna who never gone to Bedanta Society, New York !
History says. Sokoler Asa purna korechi, for which utmost tried, bhai bone, santan sobar. Nijer Sadh, Ahlad khub i samanya chilo, tai my parents loved me very much ! I had no Demand! We are 5 sisters one brother. I never deprieved to anybody else.
Pore nijeke slowly squizeed myself on my own! !!!! I hv got no repentation. Today morning- Dr. PARTHA Sahib n Head Mistress
n in presence of office staff n teachers request.ed me to start
      again to take the responsibility
Of atleast 7 students. After one year i left the tuition in middle of the January, As i was hurt in someone's(office staff) behaviour,
who shouted on me! Partha sahib heard it n tried to call for a meeting to know what's happened? Requested again n again to tell him, I simply answered-- nothing happened, but i didn't want to continue any more, I may be excused ! That time 5 students were there of different classes. Today earnestly requested to start again for 7 students. Dr. Partha respected
Me very much. Then i uttered
It is difficult to accmodate in a room, then he said pl come to Conference room, students will be over the floor with desk n i shall hv to start from Monday onwards
From 4pm to 5-30 pm. To be very frank my classes were going on
Upto 6 p.m over. As the students are from a very poor family, depends on School n tuition only.
On my own i was accustomed to give some refreshments ! Leave it!. Sorry for troubling you !
      Very Good zmorning !

Most cultural terms in India , like logon, raga, ragini, khayal etc and terms spoken throughout India arn't Urdu, Hindi or Tamil etc but are purely Bengali/Pali etc. I wonder if Swamiji can explain when this linguistic tradition evolved. Did it evolve in Gauda/Nalanda or some other place and what may be its date, please?
