I love all scenes Anastasia and Sultan Ahmed together. I watch them again and again and again for hundred times. They are so beutiful, so natural together. I love the way she lays her head on his shoulder, the way she kissed him, the way they laugh together, the way they sleep together, the way Sultan hold gently her upper arm, the way he looks and stares at her. I love all of them. Seem he really fall in love with her. But their scenes together is so few and short. I feel so dissapointed when Anastasia is replaced. The new Kosem is too mature for him though of course she is beautiful

I mean it’s not like she has much of a choice. It’s not romantic to me. It’s called you try to make the best of a bad situation so the easiest way to do that is not to keep fighting the people in power who control you. Some women have had to sleep with the enemy in order to save their own lives.

They remind me of Suleyman and Hürrem. Anastasia is strong, bold, determined and isn’t afraid to speak her mind just like Hürrem. This scene also reminds me of when she got burned and didn’t want Suleyman to see her.

It's very cute when he takes care of her and tells her she's beautiful anyway, but then he gets creepy again by talking how it's fate and she must stay in that palace even though she wants to return home *sighs*. I wanted to punch him in the face when he gets mad because she wants to write to her family and makes it all about himself and HIS hurt feelings 😤 And guilt trips her by saying how he's so good to her, how dare she still want to go home? She is supposed to be his "light in darkness" and be his therapist, but he does not care about her feelings when they are contrary to what he wants. They have lovely chemistry, but this relationship gives me 365 days vibes (only Ahmed isn't a violent guy) and is based on Stockholm's syndrome, they even have a lion here 🤣 And him having an altar with lit candles with her potrait where he sat gaping at it was creepy af. Poor Nasya, she's so young, no wonder she yielded in the end 😥 LBR these harem relationships IRL had to be usually based on Sotckholm's Syndrome ,if there was even any affection involved.

source mention thath there were one woman of sultan ahmed I who was bring on his request-the most propably mahpeyker. source said that when mahpeyker came in 1604 to the harem ahmed married her like haseki sultan received a salary 350akce and she also donor of sable feathers. in his weding day of january died mehmed pasha. in this moment ahmed remebered on his aunt gevherhan. she later named her eldest daughter from mahpeyker, gevherhan to mark her in his life. gevherhan was in infront of born osman II marked as the only female member of Ahmed's family afther valide handan sultan and safyie sultan. what is interesting is that cortarini said that handan valide sultan hated mahpeyker and she joules on her returned(because ahmed married her in 1604) , also is interesting that in weding the day ahmed is mark another woman named mahfiruz osman´s mother. it is propably that handan introduce mahfiruz like strong concurent of mahpeyker.
another interesting thing is that in year ahmed change name mahpeyker on kosem- we do not know why but many source said that ahmed change her name on kosem because of her hair there is one letter who said that on of wife ahmed (greeck origin fatma ) destroyed mahpeyker (mother of osman ) her hair because of this ahmed vanish this woman with her two daughter´s and mahpeyker change name. this situacion also discribed george sandys when is mahfiruz dead ahmed expeled one woman and mapeyker call kosem lady withou her hair(in nushle).
