I’ve watched it since Episode 1 and love the chemistry of this Anastasia and Ahmed…so later when they changed the actress (even though Beren is beautiful) it’s kinda hard for me to see love scenes between Ahmed and the ‘new’ Kosem. It’s like watching Ahmed loving ‘other woman’

Ok I don't know if it was historically true that she got kidnapped from her house and country in this way , but I'm goint to speak about this scene. They took her from family , home and life just because sultana Safiya gave them the orders , so when she grew up and became a powerful sultan she didn't have any mercy in her heart because they didn't show her mercy first . Her hands were stained by the blood of many because they stole her innocence the moment they captured her . Most arrogants and unjust people had an early miserble life .

I am truly sad to see these inhumane acts, and what is truly unfortunate is that these heinous acts are the result of storming cities and kidnapping women and children, for Islam. I am an Arab Muslim girl and I study Islamic studies at my university in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and I can tell you that these acts do not belong at all to the Islamic religion only. Because those who committed it are nominally Muslims. Indeed, this is unfortunate. The true rulings of Islam extracted from the Qur’an and the Sunnah are very merciful towards women, children, the elderly and all human beings. They command that they be treated with kindness, gentleness and facilitation. The Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Kindness is not in anything except that it beautifies it.” “And He did not remove from anything except its disgrace.” Because I am an authentic Arab girl, I can clearly distinguish through my reading of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, those rulings. Islam commands respect and reverence for the elders, mercy for the young, removing harm from the way, good morals, and treating those who differ with us in religion but do not fight us with righteousness, justice, and non-aggression. They even said that the Messenger Muhammad said, “Whoever kills a dhimmi - who is a Jew, Christian, Buddhist, or other person living in Muslim countries - the Prophet said that whoever kills a dhimmi, the Messenger will be his opponent on the Day of Judgment before God Almighty. The Islamic religion distorted many of the actions of many of those who They have been affiliated with him throughout the ages and nations. Only the first three generations were righteous and few of those who followed them. It truly saddens me such a scene when a girl is tortured and kept away from her parents. So only a theory but. Back in those days you would send a drawing or a picture to perspective suitors who live to far away to meet in person (Alot of arranged marriages worked this way. It's how and why Anne of Cleves was both chosen and later rejected by Henry the 8th. He found her picture attractive, but in person found her ugly)
As Anastasia is at an age to marry, they likely were looking for suitors for her and sent her drawing out to people. With that said, whomever was delivering that missive or the recipient themselves, were likely attacked and robbed. Photo made it back to the Sultana who told them to go and find her for her son.
