Ansabi ng prof ko po dahil daw sa mga bata daw yun, which is Rizal taught the children to memorize a song. Note* Filipino ang mga bata and they don't know the definition of the song. Then nalaman ng mga Spanish priest and officials yun tinanong ang bata kung ano yung tinuro sa kanila na kanta and sabi nila di nila alam. Pinakanta sa kanila then nalaman ang message ng kanta was against the Spaniards and also rebellion.

Rizal wrote seditious poems which eventually transformed into a song. Naging teacher din kasi si Rizal nung nagstay siya sa Dapitan, Zamboanga. But then, there were 4 heavy reasons why Rizal was arrested (already mentioned in this video) not merely because of the song.
