What great filming! Held is a literal animal. The leg power he has to push off the wall with such speed is fun to watch, and you could see it in his dives too!
Ryan's got some serious pop
Tried to count how many times my best 50 free time got beat in this workout but lost count...
I just counted how many 50s they swam
Same
Feel that
Great video and filming my man
Kyle >>>>> practice and pancakes
Lucky to be able to watch these athletes a couple times a week before we get in. Always something that is so impressive! Ryans walls are ridiculous! Mona is the place to be!!!!
We really need Leon on a IM hard set
bruh i felt that "ok"😂
20.2 from a push is insane, mid set as well😳
i would love to see a similar video with the distance group, i was a distance swimmer and imo its fun to watch people go super fast consistently for hundreds of yards at a time (not that this wasn't also really cool to watch, i just have distance bias)
watching this is nuts. ive seen hs kids push 21s or go almost as fast as these guys, but thats on tons of rest or taper! not :30!! asu is surely on track to be the next texas in terms of dominance
Simone Manual! HTOWN REPRESENT
That 20.1 that Ryan had was definitely like a 19.8.
we'll call it 18.6
I agree.
@@Sockwell yeah, but an 18.6 is like an 18.4 and if you really think about it, he really broke the 17 second barrier. Ngl.
@@NRClips3414 you’re right, you’re right. Let’s lock it in at 16.24
🙄
You knew Smoliga couldn't stay away from Kalisz.
The speed at which they kick is insane😱
Foot speed on another level 📈
The fact that they're suited up for practice 😮💨
they look like old suits. i doubt they have the hydrodynamic properties of fresh ones.
i think it's probably just to simulate the tightness of race suits. can't imagine they do much else.
Glad to see Xander training hard there in USA. Proudly Namibian🙂
Wow, I didn't know that.
How much rest between each set of 50s and 25s? Transition from best average to max effort without a break would hurt.
21.9 and 20.1 in the 50 from a push...okayyyyyyyyyy 😰
hard to understand for us normal folk, eh?
banger
Appreciate ya, Nicholas!
I’m confused. Simone Manuel pb 50 free is 21.17 and she is doing 22.00 In practice from a push. So only .87 of a second is separating her tapered and shaved time from a dive??? How is that even possible? I have the same 50 free time 21.20, but I go 26s in practice from a push
Better than practice and pancakes
any reason why they would be training yards rn? Considering they only have to compete long course for Olympics and worlds?
Also kyle would appreciate it if you cover Jordan crooks 18.90
It is because training a mix of long and short course allows you to work on different racing aspects to overall make you a better swimmer. Phelps trained about 50 percent short course.
Video coming tomorrow 🫡
very nice vid
Thank you!
20.1 MID SET????????????
the music is a copy of Joker and the thief at 6:15 . those swimmers are so good and talented as well.
First 25 of The 17.63 was 8.48 😳😳😳
Hand timed so maybe allow a little room, but I was there and he was coooookin’
How did they fare against Marchand?
Marchand was busy getting ready to go one of the fastest 500 freestyles in NCAA history…
We have the same 50 time! I can see 21 in our near future😤
Let’s add it to the list of goals. Why not, eh?
@@Sockwell Masters Nats? 👀
A lot better than you.
